If that's the consensus then I guess I'll need recommendations for install shops between Olympia and Seattle.

You might ask BensonX who's doing his engine swap, it sounded like a reputable shop.

Wow! I charged Will a half case of diet coke.
When do you have to leave? I'd be happy to try and work out a mod day sooner than May if it could save you the $$!

Yo, greenhatter - glad it worked out!
4WP usually can't figure out a tie rod from a transfer case, so good thing you didn't go there.
LeMan in Olympia could be good, but you gotta stick a dollar in him before he'll give you the time of day.
Auburn Car Repair & Offroad is where Ben is having the engine done and who I recommend as well if you need something major in the future. Only thing that I disagree on with him is that he wants to do a diff drop on a lift kit and our trucks are the rare case where its not necessary and sometimes more harm than good. Otherwise that shop is great!

I'd love the get together but I'm working Sunday on a major software conversion so probably won't see you guys

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I might be down to help on Sunday too, if I can work out transportation.

    Quick update on my truck:

Engine is delivered, I was waiting for John and the guys from the shop to get back from Moab. Brady got me in touch with his buddy and we're hoping to trailer my Taco up there tomorrow or Wednesday :woot:

Me too, they are some things that I need to discuss with John...mainly the secondary A.I.R Injection pump that is on the '12+ engines. I don't want it, I don't need it, and I don't have the wiring/ECU for it.

I theoretically "should" be able to remove it, and replace the pass. side valve cover with the one from my block, and swap the headers over, but we will see if it's that easy.

No problem. Hope you find something. And why are you selling your guns? You know they are legal here right?

What, guns for sale? PM me, lol. No such thing as too many.

I'd do a mod day this coming weekend, but made obligations to turn wrenches for a boat race. If you need any help finishing up during the week, let me know. I'm never sad to call in sick for the real job.

Benson, would you recommend this same shop for a body mount chop? I want to cut mine way down or have it relocated soon.

Most definitely! Chickenmunga had his CMC done at ACRO and it looks flawless. I will talk to John when I make it up there and find out cost.
