So closer inspection shows that my elocker axle housing is, uhm..... Housed. After discussing it's condition with the mad genius, it's in perfect condition to qualify as a candidate for a t4r flange swap.

First pic is the passenger side, the side that stayed in.

    PXL_20230531_040613683.jpg

Second pic, is driver's side, which left the party.

It looks like a terminator punched it.

Congrats on the upcoming move. That’s a cool area. If/when I get free time I like to spend it on that side of the mountains.

Well at this point I just canceled my order for the trail gear rear disc conversion, they're fucking 3-4wks out. Would have been nice to know 5 days ago at the time when I ordered them :censored:.

You sure? On their website it says they have 11 kits, and the dozens of items I've ordered thru them their inventory has always been correct and shipped out next day

So, I purchased from one of their vendors, not directly from TG, who probably doesn't stock anything they sell and drop ships everything from the manufacturer, and they emailed me stating:

    Screenshot_20230601-152644.jpg

So I replied for them to EAD and canceled my order. Especially since they just now told me about the backorder, when I ordered on Sunday. I get the holiday weekend would have delayed a response, but another 2 days to let me know, they can EABFOD.

Yeah thats pretty typical from vendors. I'd just order them from trail gear directly.
Same exact message from Poly when I ordered some hydro bumps and fuel tank skid, canceled that order and went direct from Tg and got everything in 2 days

Gotta ask, what part of AZ? My dad moved to Anthem a few years back. Done a few road-trips to Arizona when I lived in Northern California, but the drive from AZ to WA has to be a long one...

I live in North Central Phoenix. My house to the valley is 22hrs straight through. This time towing a trailer and making a few stops to see friends on the way; we hope to make it in a week.

Well, I'll be keeping it Toyota by using a t4r/gx470/fjc rear axle instead. I'll be able to use OEM factory rotors and calipers and pads. I've already got the electronic boosted master cylinder since my truck has DAC. Now my next decision is, do I cut off the coil buckets and link brackets and weld on leaf perches or cut the end cups off and weld them to mine. :notsure:

I'm installing CVJ axles right now. They are OEM Toyota CV's with their high angle boots. Big thanks to @20somethingwidataco for the help yesterday! I'm almost done, just need to install drivers side.

My old boots where super ripped open and spilling grease. I know there are some other members here that put the high angle boots on their axles.

Worth it in my opinion if your boot fins are rubbing. you'll end up like my old ones.

not sure, both inner and outer boots were torn to hell. You can get new clamps and try to stretch out the boots maybe.

I need MT tires and I love MT/R's but they are on back order. What do y'all think about STT Pro's? any others I might look at?
