Have them, like them. That being said, I haven't had them in winter conditions yet.

Check out the mickey thompson baja boss M/T. Newer tire with tons of tech and has an asymmetrical tread pattern similar to the MT/R.

I was in the same boat as you. I’ve been really happy with my Kenda’s. Definitely a tire that flies under the radar.

They used to be $180~, now are $307, I don't think they're under the radar so much anymore. I regret not getting a set before. Finding spare 34s is impossible

That is a crazy size. Is that like a 11" wide 35?

    I think it’s closer to a 34.5x10.

    Stock-ish
#kendagang still love mine and slowly convincing all my buddies to run them. My next set I may try out the new Mt but I dont really need a more aggressive tire, but they look cool.
The price on them fluctuates a good bit, probably around $75-150.
I got my 37s for $300 a tire a year ago, price went up to $400-420 then swung down and I got a matching spare for $290. My buddy picked up some 37s a month or two ago for $315.

I’ll be placing the new Mickey Thompson Baja AT 255/80/17 on my rig. Three peak rated and are equal to a 35x10. I was debating the Toyo AT III, but the MT has more sidewall protection.

I didn’t go with Kendra, as they a picky about their warranties and Discount won’t sell them because of it. I’m not sure if Les Schwab is similar.

255/80 is a 33" tire. Just so you're not surprised when they show up and are 2" smaller

He might have meant the 255/85/17 which measures at 34.6

That's an interesting size. Clearancing is probably pretty simple. Too bad tires are $350 a piece now

I must have bad luck or I mean good luck or whatever. I’ve never came out ahead on buying a tire warranty. Guess I’m self insured buying the Kendas from Amazon

When I needed new MT/R's one of them had sidewall cracks and had obviously been offroaded. They could see kevlar in the cracks and gave me one free tire that day.

Cracks must have been from a lot of snow runs running 5psi lol

Wasn’t free they charged me $49 per tire for “certificates”. I’ve bought 2 sets of 15x15 for my old wheeler. One set of 285/70/16 for my 96’ and one set of 275/85/17 for my 13’. When I say sets I mean 5 Goodyear MTRs.That’s a lot of fucken money tied up in certificates I’ve never used.
