Same, I got all 3 sets of kendas off of simple tire and walmart, and havent been able to destroy one. I do have some good gouges and cracks, but the tires will be bald before any of that matters.

Yes, you said 255/80/17 which is common for guys that don't want to cmc, but 255/85/17 is a new, awesome, size

Not sure if anyone mentioned them, but I've been happy with my 35*10.5 Kenda's :anonymous:

A year ago I got mine, and it was just shy of $1200 to my door and I mounted them myself, and used ceramic balance beads for balancing.

I switched from the original cooper stt, non pro, to their mtp, and now to the Kenda's. They released the stt pro shortly after I went to the mtp. Truck feels better with the Kenda's, but that could also be due to them being LR-C, and not LR-E like my previous cooper tires were.

Well… pop ping went diff #4. Guess it’s time to put the 8.4 with the ARB in. Diff #4 is the OEM stock diff my truck came with.

IMG_6478.jpg Spider gears broke. Ring and pinion seems fine and still tight. O well. Onwards and upwards to the ARB. IMG_6477.jpg

It’s going to be done before the sun goes down:fingerscrossed: It’s in and going back together. I’m taking a little break. Then I’ll get after it again.

It’s all buttoned up and plumbed. I’m figuring out the wiring for the locker switch I may have done some things way back when that could haunt me. As in l I put the switches and wiring harness in a safe place so I didn’t lose them or I cut up the harness to just make the compressor work with the switch pro.

Guys I’m really on the fence about the BFGKO2. vs ToyoATIII. I’ve run the ATII’s on previous rigs and they’re really sure footed on our Western WA roads including winter. I drive mostly 80 highway - 20 city/country roads. Every other month or so I hit the gravel logging roads by my house with the dogs but mostly a daily driver. I’ve driven a F150 work truck with the KO2’s and those things are great but they howl after being worn and need constant rotating. Not that im bitching, I just felt the ATII’s a little softer and quieter. But damn! I put those KO2’s through hell and they handled it no eff’s given. I know the KO2’s have a 4 ply that’s not as stiff as the E rated king. Also the ATIII has an XL tire that might work. I’m not looking for a 60 lb tire. Still use it to commute. What say the wet road commuters here?

I wouldn't use Ko2s even if they were free. They are super sketchy in the wet. They're ok in snow, but not predictable in rain.
