Haven’t had much time but I did give the dust shield some pulls trying to move it away from the rotor a bit…didn’t seem to help. It is only when brakes are applied and stops once the brakes are released. Tomorrow I’m going to take the wheel off and do some more checking and try to see if I can move the dust cover farther away. It sounds almost like a shock or rubber squeaking. Got my spinning my brain for sure. I’m gonna check out the spherical bearing also and see if I can see that it’s obviously bad.

Did a 34 mile loop from my house today for a shake-down run after getting the truck put back together. Knock Sensor, Heads, Plugs, Cam Shaft Senors and more general maintenance. Went up mid summit to the moon rocks then had some fun on the funny rocks before taking the summit trail back down to the house! Didn't get many pictures because it was just me and the kiddo.

I think last time I was around that area we saw your truck at that one burger place…we just got back from that area a few days ago too. Did lower and upper naches trail, went up to ravens roost and funny rocks but skipped shoestring trail this time. Can’t remember if I was on 33s or 35s that time but I moved up to 37s and it made those trails significantly easier. Just need a front locker now to climb up the line left of the easy line at funny rocks.

yeah remember seeing you, I see so many trucks come thru town, and now that I live on manastash I see a ton of different rigs all the time, but none that I recognize from TW. How are the 37's doing? Also how was ravens roost, its been years since I've been up that area and was just looking for that trail, but it seems they changed the number of it, it used to be 4w900 but that doesn't look like it exists anymore?

Any trail damage from naches? Always hear about it being tight with off camber obstacles but never been to see for myself.

Ah just saw the video - thats the same way we went out and took the ridge back to eburg. Lockers make that so easy :D went up it yesterday just using the rear and not even airing down. I love when all of the jeeps and utvs are parked at the bottom and they look at you like whats this person doing, and they you just go right up, its always a good laugh.

Yeah there were some jeepers there when we got there but luckily they cleared out quick. Couldn’t make it up the steeper line…maybe if I aired down more (I was at 18psi) or used more momentum but didn’t want to risk breaking anything.

The 37s definitely make the easy and moderate stuff even easier but the hard stuff not so much. My buddy had an easier time on 34s going up that super steep naches hill climb with the stump on the right because he had the relocated shocks with a ton of droop whereas I had pretty much stock travel.

we'll have to hook up sometime, I'm still looking for a small group to do crystal mountain. I've never ran it, but I know in the wet it gets super wild.

Almost got the GX the last time I went out there with @rlx02 and his band of hooligans. I think it almost got the Taco I owned when I joined this site like 10 years ago too.

Agreed on the Nota1stGenproblem, but I have been within 1/2" of that stump when headed downhill in that section.
Going up is a bit more spicy, especially if there is rain or a puddle.

The PTSD is real…and having a passenger who has never spotted before looking at the wrong spots when I asked to see if I’m clear lol.

Yeah, I ended up hugging way more to driver side on a lot of tight sections because he kept telling me I was super close, but he was taking about my tires and not my door/windows :frusty:

Down the hillclimb? Bold indeed. I thought Lower Naches was pretty much a one way trail, I’d hate to have to find a place to pass somebody.
