    I have been looking at the BAMF rack as well and Jerry stated that they could make the height lower for me. The weight is a consideration though, once you add a RTT and all the equipment and armor. What is you take on this?

    reminds me of when i lived in Bozeman, MT. The papers "911" section was always good for a laugh. "Chickens got out and were blocking the road. Police responded and gathered all chickens. No injuries reported". or "a man was wandering around late at night. police investigated. Man was just on a late night walk".

    Hey man the more the merrier. I don't have any trail maps yet but I was going to try and hit a ranger station after work this week. Got a GPS but haven't roamed these areas yet. I have Friday to Monday off so what ever day we can get people together works for me.

    Perkins Performance Sliders, Warn 9000, Brute Force Fab front & rear bumper, OME/Dakar lift, full ATO skids and hi-lift mount, satoshi, Wet Okoles, illuminated 4x4 switch, Diff Breather.
    Well, a lower height probably won't make too much of a change in weight unless you plan on a drastic height change. A shorter rack would help lower center of gravity. I am guessing 300lbs for bed rack and RTT.

    Not sure if you are asking with respect to the tire mounting location or just overall weight. I've added 800lbs to my truck since I purchased it and that doesn't include bed rack or RTT. I weighed in at 5,300lbs last week so I started ~4500lbs. No concerns on how the truck can handle the weight except for the fact your suspension should be upgraded.

    well didn't make the drive to head to the ranger station today for some maps of trails but talked to a couple of buddies and heard of a couple places that are off HWY 12 going towards White Pass. Does anyone know of some trails going up HWY 90W? I have passed some Highway Service Roads going to Ft. Leavenworth before...... What is convenient for everyone that's interested? I will make the drive tomorrow to hit the ranger station by Ahtanum ridge for local forest roads that run up the Yakima Valley. Need to do some research tonight about maps for Snoqualmie or out that way!

    theses a couple runs up in the snoqualmie pass area, not sure whats open, check cle elum area also theres some good runs there i havent done those ones though

    Thanks man, I will definitely be writing these guys! Any of the trails that you know require a pretty modified rig... or at least a winch? I would hate to lead anyone on a trail and not have the right recovery equipment. haha end up being a long weekend!

    If your coming from Yakima, check out Bethel Ridge rd. It runs between Highway 12 and Highway 410. Start out at Rimrock Lake on highway 12 and head north on Betherl Ridge rd. It comes out on 410 near the town of Nile.

    Should be open and is definitely doable in a stock tacoma, assuming all the FS roads are open that is.

    So are you familiar with this area? I was thinking about picking up a handheld GPS and trying to navigate through this area.... with some forest maps and trails labeled I figure it shouldn't be to hard especially with a couple people!
    I found this site after looking up your recommendation, any of this look familiar? Seems like a pretty good drive..... anyone around the area interested, I understand its a little bit of a hike for some.... but I heard a lot of the I90 trails have recently been locked or blocked off due to wash outs and erosion.

    Yeah, a lot of those places in the pics are familiar. Been to most of them at one time or another. Some of it is pretty high elevation and is too soon to do yet because of snow. Some of those places will be closed until mid june and some even til mid july. Not sure about snow on Bethel Ridge tho. Might be OK this early. Varies from year to year.
