How was everyones Memorial Day weekend? I want to hear stories and see pics! I just went camping with some friends on Taneum Creek between Cle Elum and Ellensburg. Did some exploring on the way out on some forest roads and made it back over to Cle Elum over the mountains.

This is what i did on my Sunday at least. Today is just a relaxing day. But i have all this week off so not in a rush to do much of anything :)

Well here is how i spent my Sunday. Few snafu's but went ok for the most part. Best part was i did it all with my dad. Neither of us have have done anything like this so it was a great project and took (albeit a lot longer than planned) 12 hours to do it was worth it!

Drove it home (about 10 miles) and the ride was soooo much better than stock. The small bumps werent noticeable and even cornering felt smoother.

Just need to drive it a bit more then get a alignment and also get the extended brake lines installed.

And figure out bumpstops. Not sure if the stock ones will work or not

    Awesome looking 4runner Joe!

This weekend I spent getting my light bar installed and wired up. Here are some night pics, 40 inch curved and I can see about 3/4 mile down the road with ease, 20,000 lumens :D

I remember transferring the tin inboard dust cap, but that's it. You can see the dust cap as the 'gold' ring on the far right

If you look at the picture below, I can't see anything else I would need

This part below is what I replaced inside the diff. Note that you are looking at the backside of the part.

If you look below at this guy's diff below, that part gets press-fit (I used a rubber mallet and the plastic butt of a screwdriver).
Note that mine is a lot cleaner than that!

Yeah I love it. Only problem is when I hit 55mph a high pitched whine/whistle starts and I believe the cooling fins are causing it. The only way to get rid of it completely is to have the light bar facing as far down as possible when driving. I am looking for a way to solve the problem so I don't have to put it up and down every time.

I ran across this the other day: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f274/5-dollar-50-led-light-bar-whistle-fix-228165.html. might have some luck doing something similar...

We ended up around Salmon La Sac road. Found a road which looked like nobody had been through there in a while. I also saw a Suzuki 4x4 club on my way out there.

I was going to go up there this weekend and camp. Did you go past the old forest service house?

Headed up Salmon La Sac road a ways before deciding that every campsite everywhere was taken. Headed down to Teanaway road and lucked out on a sweet campsite by the river. Went all the way to the end of the road and climbed a good portion of the way up to the ridge around 6,000', really should have brought my skis.

Think we passed you up around Salmon La Sac on Saturday around 2pm. Good day to be out there.

yes all those spots on Salmon La Sac were taken! Glad you found a good site. We went up FR-4330 and then found a road to the right that didn't appear on my GPS or map. It had a gate that looked like it hasn't been locked for a couple years. We were happy to find a private spot.

That sounds right. We made camp at around 3:30 after wandering around a while.
