Next weekend is no good for me unfortunately. But I will be road-tripping up to Sandpoint, ID and back the week after July 4th. Would make a great excursion for anyone who's got the time or is in the area!

Woo hoo - looking forward to seeing the new place, Zach!

I've got the entire rear of my DC disassembled. Fat Mat installed. Shoehorning a group 31 battery (seems to fit pretty easily), Blue Sea second battery isolator, fuse box and relays behind the rear driver side seat. Also finally trying to wire up off road lights, aux reverse lights and hardwire my WO seat heaters. It will be nice to get the second battery mod completed and have it ready once the RTT and bed rack arrive. I'm getting back into camping this year!

Friend helped me install an alarm last weekend which looks to require a bit of fine tuning.

I'm going to do a tiny bit more grinding where my left tire is rubbing and try fitting the 285 M/Ts on the truck for this trip.

Oh yeah - I'll make sure and bring some firearms fun as well, Zach!

You sir will be somewhat passing by my place. You plan to take i90 into Coeur D'elene, then cut north, or cut north in Spokane and go out highway 2? I live about 20 miles north of i90 above Spokane. Maybe on a trip to the lake, I can go out to Sand Point to say hi. From the marina on the lake, I want to say Sand Point is about an hour and a half to 2 hours.

I know an electrician that can help you with some of this stuff. Also it sounds like you need more lift for the tires. I can get my tires to rub a little turning into a parking lot, but that is at full turn and one tire up the incline a little.

I think that goes without saying. Also, did you want to do preexploration of the trails for August, or try some other stuff?

A - Well, I'm a little over 2.5 inches in front. I think camber is playing a factor. I don't rub on the passenger side. Right now I'm not rubbing on any metal with 275s - just plastic fender bits. I will have to wait and see what happens with 285s.

    B - pre-exploration would be cool

I might be down for this. My family spends 2 weeks every summer with our boat in Hope Id, my dad and I did the "high drive" a few years ago with some other guys, great road.

We had the truck for only a week so far at this point, took it on the high drive and pinstriped the hell out of it. Luckily a layer of dust was on the truck, so no scratches at all :D

You will do better for camping going out highway2 than up from Coeur D'elene, but it will likely be a slower drive. If you do go up through Spokane, don't take Division Street. It is all stop lights all the way up. Take the Maple Street exit, left at second light and stay toward the left. Follow that all the way out and turn left on Division, right on Hawthorne, left on Newport, and Newport highway is highway 2 that will take you all the way to Sandpoint.

I'm going to Seneca, Oregon to rescue my truck tonight (just slide a new axle and third into it, no biggie). Any of you guys are more than welcome to come help (or drink beer and watch), then we'll go wheelin' afterwards. Will probably end up camping somewhere not too far from town. Lots of cool spots. It's probably too far for most of you guys though.

Its a bit of a trek but really I'm more worried about the effect being around your truck will have on my truck. And my bank account. Wicked rig man.

Okay, so I'm in Everett for the weekend, then driving down to Enumclaw Mon-Wed, then back to Everett until the 10th. Anyone around want to meet up for a drink, post it up!

If I were still loving in that area, I would definitely take you up on that. I can suggest Scuttlebutt as a place to get food and drink. It is on the waterfront in Everett not far from the navy base. They brew their own beer there.

Justic Brewing is also located in north Everett, but closer to the freeway, I want to say 24th and Chestnut st. The brewer there is the son of a union friend of mine.

    My Sunday...

After 20k miles on a brand new long block from Gig Harbor Enginehaus... Blown head gasket, and leaking front and rear main seals. I would not recommend buying from them. Ever. They use an ebay gasket set, and none of it is covered under their "warranty". Actually, after ready through their "warranty" several times, it looks like it covers nothing.
