If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Wish I could man, I have a couple CVs to rebuild and install the ECGS bushing.

We are leaving for Leavenworth Friday afternoon, and have been watching the fire reports/closures like crazy to see if it's still a go...which as of now, it is.

I hear you man. I have 3 dogs and that was a big thing in question when I decided on the RTT. But I decided that the annex would be a good place for them to sleep. And one of them can climb a ladder lol. If you let go of your 315s let me know!

I saw that too. I thought about getting it for a second but realized, like you said, it is pretty steep for a used rack/tent. I would have bought it, used the tent and sold the rack but you could, maybe, get $300 for it so that's $1,500 for a tent... No, I'm good. I paid less than that for my NEW CVT which is larger and comes with an annex.

I'm want to go! I was up around salmon la sac last weekend camping and saw a bunch of jeeps gasin' up at the shell station, getting ready, made me want to join in. I have everything on the list of equipment, but my cb radio isn't installed yet, I'll finish it this week and hopefully it's useable then i can roll with.

I don't think I've ever seem anything quite like that before. Quite unusual formation.

Ive seen it in Kansas, but never here on the coast. I love storms and cloud formations.

Ok, Ok. I think I have her convinced. We are a solid maybe at this point. I've never been on a TW camping trip thus far though so I'm just curious of what your time frames are. Is it just wheel, camp and go home or wheel to the camp site, hike, hang, chill, and do what ever? If it is just wheel/camp/home I may stay at the camp site for the next day for some hiking.

    I have no comms though.

A wheel, camp, check out the place, chill, do what ever we want kind of thing. I am kinda playing it by ear and seeing what everyone else wants to do. We may camp at the lake, or above the lake or somewhere else that we find better. I was kinda hoping to do Van Epps pass in the morning if we are up for it. I have never been out camping or been on a meet with anyone from TW either and im kinda in charge I guess of this one, so we will see how it goes.

Also you don't need to have comms, just helps. I may be able to bring an extra hand held radio since I think thats what most people have. I will have all 3 though with me

Has anyone done a cab mount chop before? Going to need to do it, and I am a little bit worried.

Thanks Beavis, I may be interested in grabbing that from you but if the standard comms for the trip is hand helds I might just grab one from a buddy. I have been contemplating whether to go with ham or cb but don't know enough about either.

Lots of people on the forum have. I'm not sure how many NW members have but I did and have had no issues at all. I had it done while I had sliders installed by a member in Bellingham.

    Welcome, and thank your service.

I think about 4 or 5. A couple of people won't be here until later in the afternoon. Hoping this rainy weather does NOT hold up...
