Too bad I'll never find out who did it, so I won't get any monies for it. I don't feel like paying 500 bucks right now either.

If I didn't have to drop a huge pile of cash on a new rear end right now I'd give you my bed sides. I really want to run aftermarket ones that are wider.

Thanks Mike. It's all good for now. Not sure which way I want to fix it up though yet.

OK got it. Beat it out to get the majority. Then you'll want to stud weld/pull for the finer things. For the hole, you could get away with a patch but ideal method would probably be the spot weld and jump around method.

Definitely it will need something to protect the paint. To make it cheap, a can of Duplicolor and clear coat. Then it will require some buffing to blend in the paint fix.

Obviously the fender flare needs to be set aside during this project. I may even have a few extra flare fasteners if you break some.

It sounds like a bit of work and it does take time. That's why I usually let a few dents build up then fix them all at once. You can go a lot quicker depending on how perfect you want it to look.

I kind of wish I went high clearance with mine but I'm still trying to get completed with the mods I want. I'm a ways away from upgrading any existing mods.

I'd be happy if they could make ones that are modestly wider. They all seem ginormous. Front fiberglass generally seem a little more aesthetic to me.

So it's lookin pretty sure I'm going to do a black taillight mod, going to black out the whole thing and leave the reverse light reflector alone. Then paint the circle bezels around the taillight and turn signal blue to match my emblems

I don't think so this time, it's quite a mob and if I go I'd like to visit some old friends who all seem busy doing things this weekend.
    I appreciate the offer though!

I think they need to update some stuff. They show for 2005-2009 on the site yet all their fender pics are with a 2012+.

The flat top version actually gives me a woody. Too bad they don't have one for a Long Bed. :(

You gave me some ideas though. I'm going to do some further looking around. I'm going with Trailer Products for fenders since they are the most modest rise/flair I could find.

...and holy crap. What the hell is with that front bumper on the fender pics? That thing looks like a photoshop it's so out of place. I don't know if it's good quality but it sure looks :der: to me.

After seeing them installed and color matched in this build thread, I'm sold on them.http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-builds/227832-my-never-end-build-15.html
