Anyone know the guy in Olympia selling the silver doors? Can't get ahold of him and want them to make half doors for the taco.

I picked them up for Will, but they happen to be regular cab doors with manual windows. I didn't know reg cab were different size, nor did I think to look for manual windows :bananadead: As a result, I need to sell them

The seller is pretty shady. He owns about 3 or 4 cell phones and it's probably a lucky thing I'm not buried in his backyard right now.

    so true...damn hippie truck.
Sup Beavis! Been on sabbatical for a bit :p

Doing alright though, definitely ready for the weekend. Finally rebuilt my CVs last weekend, and serviced my front suspension and installed the ECGS bushing (thanks to ndcmack for the puller ).

Had a few issues with the CV boot clamp slipping off on the passenger side and eventually had to pull it out again to replace the inner axle seal too. Then I completed my "plunge a flat-head into your hand" mod. Turned out great! :D

Glad you survived it! Sucks about the doors being different, I didn't know that either. I wondered about the 256 area code deal, makes sense now.

I think the next thing is a small get together at my place on the 18th to figure out what to do with all these miscellaneous body parts, lol.

    2nd gen Factory tow hitch
    2nd gen passenger fender
    1st gen passenger fender
two 2nd gen reg cab doors
some leafs from an old Blazer that I was going to do the junkyard leaf upgrade (until I realized I didn't have the means to do that... it would take quite a bit of experimenting over at BoatRacer's)

Lighter and less snap danger. It comes with cons as well however. It frays easier and is arguably not as strong. Just depends what you're going for.

I bought 100foot of 3/8 syn rope ($120) for mine after the fact already had a aluminum fair lead ($50) that I bought in moab at the M40 shop so total I paid $640 which isn't to bad at all.

As far as synthetic rop goes the pro's well out way the cons rop is cheap my life isn't.

not that im a cheap ass all the time like I plan on moving my winch to the rear and buying this for the front

I got the VR-8000s from Autoplicity for about $590 a few years back.

I think they had a sale and a coupon code or something. Haven't seen them that low since.
