So I ordered up my tie rod. Before I just go do things myself, were any of you guys needing a mod day? I'm looking at the weekend of the 8th.
I wish I could host, but my place can only really fit two trucks + two on the street where you are likely to get hit

 

Always. I'd like to do the diff breather mod, cut some plastic from my fenders, and cab mount chop.

Then we need hose that will fit. Someone told me to relocate it to the top of one of the tail lights. Sounds like a pretty good idea.

 

I did this and mounted it by the gas cap. Easy peasy. Make sure to position it so there's plenty of room for the cap and fingers.

 

I need to do it as well, want to do the locker on anytime mod and abs off anytime mod as well.

 

I did the breather mod about 2 weeks ago, its stupid how easy it is, i mounted mine next the the gas cap, seems to be a fine location.

cost only about 15 bucks for the parts from the dealership.

 

what type of hose did you get?

 

I can't remember the exact size but look in the mod section at the write up there for the size.

Then I just used fuel line. Went to Orielys and picked it up there. They had the tiny hose clamps there for the line as well.

 

question: I've been trying to get to Chester Morse Lake off I-90 and the forest roads all around it but I keep running into gates. Anyone know how to access that area?

I tried getting on forest roads from Rattlesnake lake and also tried accessing it from SE Homestead Valley Rd. All gated.

No particular reason, I just see it on the map and it's close to home and I want to see what is around there.

 

It's the watershed back there, that's why everything is gated. No public access.

 

ah ok, well I'll pick another random area on the map to explore next time.

i used 6 feet of 1/4" fuel line, from O'Reillys.

Yup, here's what I did

 

I put mine behind the drivers side tail light assembly.

I think I bought the tubing at West Marine.

 

I'm calling to order a safety meeting(beer drinking) at the Joker Pub in Issaquah. Tomorrow after work ok? Let me know if that works or post a different day. We could do a different bar too as long as there are pool tables.
