I think I'm going to order some AP Expos later today with the free shipping. Any one have big plans with the day?

Any of you that I can hate on for not working? Yes, that's right, I'm on the work computer right now.

With the right tires, you don't need chains in the snow...

Went up Stampede for a few miles on my way home from Spokane this afternoon. Didn't go up too far because I was in a hurry to get home, but I couldn't resist checking it out for a bit. Would have been a beautiful day for a snow run. There was 6-7" of snow where I was, probably more higher up.

Nice pics Joe! I too went up in the snow in Darrington.

Saw this nice 1st gen at the IGA (grocery store) in town.

Got up to about 4100 ft which is about 3/4 of a mile from that ridge I was at before. 3 feet of snow on the sides and about 1.5 feet in the tracks.

The entire road is a sheet of ice under, where there was no snow you could not stop. Found this on the way back down, stayed and helped get him out. Only thing stopping him from a 75ft steep slope is a single tree.

Yeeee. I just want my truck back. Powdercoating is taking forever on the rear bumper. I'm sick of driving an automatic half ton with 20" wheels :(

No pictures from my adventure this weekend but I got out to Twin Lakes near Glacier, WA yesterday. The road is 7 miles long in total but the last trucks were all parked at the 5 mile mark due to snow. I plowed on ahead for maybe another mile before I called it quits and busted out the snow shoes, I was there for hiking anyways. 30 minutes later some guys from the local 4x4 group Rainier Ridge Rams came crawling up past us in their AWESOME Jeeps and older Yotas. They ended up making it all the way to the lakes. I was half tempted to go back and grab my truck and follow them up after they broke trail but resisted the temptation and enjoyed my hiking.
