I also forgot to mention the front shock bushings. Mine look pretty bad but I'm not sure if there's a replacement bushing out there.

haha lets do it! Or I can bring a floor jack and some jack stands and put your front end up in the air and turn them, might be easier than walking next to it

 

Yeah I might take you up on that. We will see if it comes back, in the mean time I'll take a look those bushings and re torque everything

I agree. My old truck popped like a mother and I had to have momentum and weight. Its gonna throw off all your angles if you have the truck jacked up

 

Well off subject of what everyones been talking about...... Hope all your truck noises/problems get worked out (I got issues with vibration right now too) you can never go to long without something going wrong.
Anyways I went up here last week with some friends and hung out by a fire all day, was thinking about going out again this weekend to go cut down a Christmas tree if anyone is interested in the ride!?

It is off of HWY 410 just pass a place called Whistling Jacks outside of Naches, mostly FS roads but the snow is pretty good up there!

 

Anything going on this weekend?

ya I need to wash the mud off my truck with snow

 

The trails were off of NF 1706 which lead up to an old Forest Ranger Cabin on that ridge and then went further north, northwest to a large snow bowl and some other trails. It sucks a lot of you guys are away from this area.... it would prob. be a good hike just to meet up. But I told the wife we would go cut a tree this weekend so I need to get one to put in the house!!

 

That's the 'Naches' area we talk about. The south side (which is what I think you are talking about) leads off to the mud springs trails and stuff. Some of that area would be impossible in snow (it's damn hard enough in the dry), but some of it shouldn't be too bad.

 

I would if I had my damn rear bumper back

 

Well maybe we can organize a group snow ride trip here in the next couple of weeks or after Christmas! I will post some more pictures of us heading up that way tomorrow morning. Hopefully we don't get stuck.....(knock on wood) Look forward to doing some snow wheeling this winter!! Have a little bon fire with some whiskey to stay warm, cut down some trees and explore some new trails.

 

Im down for the weekend after christmas. Just anytime after christmas will work best for me, will still be recovering until then.

 

I know that my front bumper will be ready soon so I'm gonna be aching to try out me winch
