yeah i remember him. Last time i was up there was probably late august.

 

Do any of you know how long of U-bolts I will need for the AP expos? I'm not doing a flip, just standard mounting.

 

I'm not sure if you need new Ubolts at all.

 

They don't come with any? I can measure the ones that came with my Dakars if you'd like?

I love it, I've been getting lots of compliments on it. Need to get a winch and a light bar for it now.

 

I thought you have to buy them from all-pro... maybe ask one of their techs?

 

Nice! Im just waiting for mine to be done. Ordered it at Thanksgiving and was told 8-10 weeks. Think I got the same Fog lights to go with it as you too. Went with the winch and lightbar too for mine.

PS if you want a winch talk to Pelfreybilt...they gave me a pretty dang good deal on mine (better than advertised)

 

Just got word from a family friend who lives in Alaska that he is coming down in February, why am I posting this? Because he has a badass Tacoma. Not sure if he is on here or not

Best looking 2nd gen bumper, IMHO.

Just wish he did 1st gen stuff.

 

You are technically not supposed to re-use them, but I did way back when I didn't know any better and put on the aal. I'm pretty sure going from a 4 leaf pack to a 10 or so leaf pack is going to need longer bolts, so good excuse to get new.

They don't come with anything. Just bare springs. In wondering if they were supposed to have bushings. If not, I'm ordering bushings from wheelers, but wanted to see if I could buy the bolts now instead of needing to figure it out during the install. I'll poke my head in the suspension forum to see if anyone has a quick number. I'm thinking 216mm since I see those advertised as "extended length".
Dakars are going to have a different thickness to their stack, I see they sell branded bolts at 185mm

AP wants to sell their $70 flip kit, I'd rather just spend $30

 

Yeah for sure, I've been comparing their prices to everyone else and they seem to be pretty good. Plus, really nice people to work with, and live that Taco life haha.

 

Looks mean don't it... i spent some time checking them all out and just kept coming back to this one. The way his business is going i wouldn't be surprised if he starts making 1st gen's too.

 

Possible Group Buy coming up on Front Bumpers. I'll be keeping an eye out for it.
