Scored the whole way around and slightly bent. I seriously don't remember driving over/through anything that would have done that. Why couldn't it have just busted the u joint!

Yup. Have no idea what $$$ I'm looking at. Thinking $50-$100 if it can be rebalanced, $250-$400 for a new one.

I might have to check it out. There's also a Toyota-only wrecking yard where we turned at the last light on the way to Evans.

Did that dude ever get back to you about his fenders?

Too bad Six States Auto isn't up here, they are kinda the go-to place for this in Oregon.

I'm guessing this was that big stump root thing at the beginning :p

I was thinking that too, but they don't make a one-piece for the dc/lb. I bet they make beefier dual cardan ones though. Gonna call the place in Yelm today. For some reason, I can't find the OEM driveshaft on any Toyota parts site.

not yet, gonna see what I can do locally and compare prices.

Just found the OEM Part #37100-04361 = $881.93

    Local quotes to re-tube:
Advanced Drivelines in Yelm = $250+
Drivelines NW in Fife = $250+, heard good things about these guys and he was more friendly/professional on the phone. He was open to explore the option of a custom one-piece also.

Called 410 Auto-Wrecking (the Toyota-Only yard in Buckley, we all drove by it on the way to Evans) = $350 for a used one from from CA.

drive lines nw does good work i used them when i worked for a rebuild shop... if you end up taking it to fife and need a place to crash or a lift to and from the shop im in auburn which is close to fife. so i have a couch you can crash and beer in the fridge if you have down time waiting for your drive line.... or if you dont want to free way it all the way up here with that bent drive line i could probably pick you up on one of my days off.

I have followed this latest "adventure" with interest - does sound like a great time and quite the learning event!! So sorry for those that got unintended/unanticipated damage!! That so sucks!! We love our trucks but the best part - sounds like all got out safely and lessons learned!!

Enjoy being a part of the group - when I can and when my "street queen" truck feels like going along on a trip -- always reading and looking forward to the next "E" (rated "E" for everyone) adventure!!

    Stay safe!!!
