Lightly used, the seller decided to swap for a LT Icon bundle instead. I'm under the impression they've just been mallcrawled, but who knows. If any issues arise the rebuild is straight forward, just need to get myself some nitrogen.

Well plans change. Wish inhad known sooner. Anyways just ordered my new rear dakar pack and rear fox 2.5 shocks. Keep an eye out for a deal on some front coilovers for me... Life.. I know im going to catch so much crap for this.

 

I need to play with a piece of string first, then I will be ordering.

I have been trying to keep abreast of my projects. I just put a different clamp on a CV boot that was starting to leak. Looks like a rock had dented the old clamp causing a bad seal.
This weekend I'm going to hook up with Ben and check out trying his wheel spacers on my truck. I'm getting some frame rub from the 255s. I'll also be helping him make the world a brighter place

 

Frame rub with 255's? Hmm. Stock rims?

 

Yeah, which makes me grumpy because back at the time I bought them everyone was going off about how they fit with stock rims just fine.

 

Thay doesnt seem right at all man. My next question is simply, is your truck lowered? Are the shocks/coilovers shot? Because 255 should never rub even on a stock application.pics please..

 

My 255s only rub at full lock and stuff. They also just kiss the upper wheelwell when I hit something hard and fast. I have stock trd offroad wheels. But we all know how certain trucks rub while others don't with identical set ups.

 

Anyone seen this month's Harbor Freight sales. They have a Badland 9K lbs capacity winche for sale for $299.99 Let me know what you guys think. Is it a good buy for the truck?

NO. Harbor freight makes the cheapest of the cheap. You don't want your recovery tool to be a cheap piece of crap. I've read multiple reports of those winches failing on the first use. You just can't trust the quality.

 

I ended up talking to this guy in Snoqualmie with a 2000 LT taco with Kings in back and Fox in front. He said he's been to tw for technical info but I told him to come to this thread and meet up with us. Hopefully we see him here.
