    Shit man, that's crazy. Glad your okay. Did the jack fail or did it slip out? How did you have it secured?

    Like someone else said that's why they suggest you using jack stands.

    I was thinking the same thing.

    So how this happened, i was lowering the truck down onto the stands utilizing the jack. I went under to lift the jack stand bars one notch higher and i guess i didnt turn the jack handle far enough to the right or something... I dunno.. And the jack gave out quickly and dropped down to fast on the stands and rolled forward. The wheels were chocked but evidently not enough. The only damage was to my manhood..

    Yes my 45 did go off into my passenger door,

    My dad had a similar thing happen to him when he was like 19 or 20. Was working on his car and it jacked up with jack stands under but without the full weight of the car on them (lift still had most of the weight). Was working on the brakes and hit the caliper with a hammer. guess it was just enough that the jack fell and the stands ended up not being quite level so they rolled forward. Dad ended up with the rotor on top of his arm. He was lucky as right where his arm was the gravel was a bit lower so his arm didnt take the full weight of the rotor. Ended up being pinned under the rotor like that for (he figures) 30 minutes before his neighbor got home and he could yell for help. Cut of circulation but not enough to cause any damage thankfully.

    Every since then (and the first thing i was taught) was screw anything that moves, solid shit only to support the car or truck. he wont even use jack stands except for emergencies (ie road side tire changes) and any time a tire comes off it goes under the frame. Old 6x6's or 4x4's are pretty much all we use usually double stacked.
