    I was just camping up there again 2 weekends ago :)

    The pin-striping is for sure, mostly superficial and can be buffed out, but there are some unruly branches that can scrape pretty bad. I'll say this, even a Samurai would get pin-stripes near the end of this trail...

    You could run painter's tape on your body panels to help minimize the scraping - there was an FJ that went on a Tahuya run with us that taped-up the sides of his rig before leaving.

    The rocks/obstacles are not too crazy, Das Stump is still the biggest challenge - but skids and sliders will definitely ease your mind. My skid and sliders both put in work every time I go up there. The very end of the trail near the lake has gotten a little more crazy over time, but I was able to negotiate either route (there are 2 ways to go) without a problem.

    My friend was the one in the big red diesel truck on 37's, he just went up for the day. I saw his truck and there were a lot but not many that couldn't be buffed out.

    Nice, yea I saw him roll in as we were packing up, I was surprised he was able to make it up there in a full size. I think he was the guy with the camera scouting it out for the first time.

    I still haven't been to the actual Gallagher Lake...we did a small TW meet a few winters ago, and the snow proved too much for us. I was able to make it up and around the S-Curves, but it was sketchy as hell turning around and getting back down by myself. I need to get back up there and redeem myself :)
