If I can find the time to get a couple issues with my rig ironed out, I might be in.

I'm in, I'll camp, all of those who have experience there just show me the best place to camp, I'm stoked to try my new sleeping bag. I will have my cb going and should have new tires by then.

does van epps offer scenic views as well? as proclaimed in the fortune creek trail info? cause i was hoping to do that. but if van epps offers the same thing, then i suppose we could do that. what kind of trail times can we expect? what time should we meet up at camp? where should we meet?

Fortune Creek is more scenic if you start up Hawkins Mountain trail than Van Epps but Van Epps is a little more technical.

@dakotasyota is in charge of the Sunday group (meeting times, place) I assume he'll want to meet up at the shell station in Roslyn but up to him. We can probably meet at Van Epps trail head around 10-11? We can decide later with inputs from others.

Saturday group will be 11am at Safeway in North bend.

A stock truck can do it, not much worse than Fortune. Heres a pic from a section of Van Epps. Mainly just tighter and the rocks are a little bigger.maxresdefault.jpg

@Usethe2nd what are you doing this weekend. I'm half and half on meeting up with the group this weekend. Some trail running and bear hunting?

Busy, the GF has a rare work free weekend. Her and I are planning on trying to find some mushrooms and maybe some grouse.

Anything going on next month? I'm taking diving classes with my brother the first two weekends of October but should be free. Deer season is just around the corner but I plan on doing some pre-work hunts where I popped my blacktail last year

    Are floor mats a mod?
U have a short bed, your quarters are safe. I did Van Epps before I lifted, and no prob. Couple narrow kinda kinked spots but u will be fine. No big. Rest of it is like a dirt and rock freeway.

You can either take the first part of fortune creek, or go to the forest service road
