Which ones did you get? I didn't notice any shitty steering after I installed mine. Although I did end up in the ditch a few days later when I broke my lca. Lol. :dunno:

Edit - I completely missed the icon part. I got TC.

I got the tubular ones. ICON doesn't make the tacky (see also:fancy) billet/heim jobs for us po' boys in the 3rd gen 4Runners.

I didnt notice a difference steering wise when i switched to my icon tubular uca's. I could see it seeming shitty if the alignment was way out of whack though.

Yeah when I first installed the front suspension and also took the sway bar out at the same time. It was very difficult to keep the truck between the lines on the freeway. I got new tires and an alignment after a few months of driving it like that and it drives pretty damn straight now. Just needed an alignment it seemed like.

OK, so thank you for this info as I was about to disco the sway bar on my first gen but I have "end of life" KM2's at the moment (6-9 months max as a DD).

I didn't really notice any issues with mine either when I first installed them. But even after the lift and then new wheels and tires my alignment wasn't very far out. Probably the most apparent change to me was the increased body roll from removing the sway bar. But I would say the alignment is probably the issue if you're having steering issues.

Those silver and black tacos are #EAF, minus the RTT.

    Hey Guys,

Just started following the thread, glad to see some users not on the east or down south.

Was curious if anyone on here has a Powder Coater they like in the area (Bellingham-Seattle Areas)?

Also wondering if anyone on here has a tonneau (BF G2, Folda Cover) cover they like best? Most of the reviews I see are from people where it doesn't rain much or as often as it does up in the PNW. I have a shell but its a bit of a PITA to drive in Seattle with.

Who did you take it to for the CMC? I still need to get mine done and have the plates already. Just need to find motivation and time to grind em off and then take it somewhere to have em welded

    Hey Everyone,

New to the forums and was wondering if anyone had the time to help me install a lift kit. I would rather pay a fellow taco owner than a shop. That way I can learn more, plus I don't have the space or necessary tools for the task.

    Thanks!
