Anyone want to do a north end snow run this weekend? Probably head up to Darrington and back FS road 24, or we can go up North Mountain and try to get to the fire lookout.. Not sure we'll see much though.

I'll definitely check when I get home, that would make sense. I just checked and hit it around with my hand and didn't hear any clunks but we'll see. The noise started pretty soon after I did a CMC..

CMC could affect the mounts I guess. The heat might shrink/expand the metal or rubber causing it loosen

Let me know if it makes a difference. 34# is the OEM torque spec., but the mech. at Toyota said he got mine "as tight as he could"...

 

Sadly that sounds like someone in the know, at least to an extent. Not many thieves bring torches with them. Plus bring a vehicle big enough for multiple tents. Definitely doesnt sound like the typical smash and grab. Hope they catch the guys though!
