it would almost be worth the 40 minute drive to work

but 300 bucks.... there's gotta be bodies buried in the basement or something

the house is probably just structurally unsound, electrical not up to code, etc., and is really small or there's people that shoot at it.

Haha, great find Will! Actually, yesterday I started calling around locally to see if there's a a garage space (we) could rent for a weekend. Had to leave a few messages for property managers, but haven't heard back yet.

Great minds think alike! We should try to nail down a good spacious area for a mod day!!!

    FS-23/High Steel Bridge:
I spent some time mapping out a route for this Saturday...
    http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=U...d=207314392582078463773.0004d5935a93cb0a5b127

I'm not sure how much snow is up there, but it does look like some snow on the North side of the route I mapped out. I used these maps to check it out:
    http://www.intellicast.com/Local/WxMap.aspx
    NOHRSC

Also, a NW Forest Pass is required.
    Thoughts???

Hey T-Rex, we'd love to have you join us. Since we are not 100% the terrain we will be driving through, it might be a good idea to ride along with someone for this trip. The overall "goal" is to explore, find some snow, and have fun safely.

Nothing against your or your truck, but without a well-equipped rig and good recovery equipment, a simple outing can quickly turn into a 12-hour nightmare. I hope that makes sense, and hopefully we'll see you on this trip or others in the near future!

Here's another one I was looking at:
    http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/prk/3610913925.html

I'll give them a call and see about a weekend rental. Shit I'd even be cool with splitting a month 50/50 with somebody since I've got a handful of things to work on...

I'd love to say yes, but I can't financially commit to that. I could throw in on a weekend rental, but we're saving up to build a house (which will have a full-size shop :D) so scrimping along to make that happen.

If I buy the annual pass online will I get something emailed to prove I have one or can I buy one at a store somewhere?

Thanks for posting the link Tallon. No gate, but they have guys driving around. Better safe than sorry (and less expensive than a ticket).

Hey many guys are gonna be meeting for this?

They have active patrols. You may not run into anybody, but then again, you might.
