I'd assume yours is the same but my stock intake has end that kind of protects it. Instead of being just cut straight it has a curved end so it sucks air in from the top of the fender. I've had good luck with it not sucking in to much dust or other craps so far.

But I've now got an old pair of the gfs panty hose over the end (cut way down) and a hose clamp to hold it on. Still plenty of air flow and nothing can get in. I'll probably try to find some sort of mesh and figure a way to attach it for a more permanent solution

So my check engine light came on thismorning for the first time. I got the codes c1201 engine control malfunction, c1256 accumulator low pressure, u0100 lost communication with ecm. Has anyone ever had these. I am just looking for some places to start. My abs, atrac, and traction control no longer works.

Abs, atrac and trac control become disabled during the presence of a CEL FYI.

There's not much info to go on, I sent him a text. It's cool, but I really don't need another project. Its possible just the engine is bad, but that's best scenario

Has anyone heard from anyone lately of the conditions of Fortune Creek Trail up to Gallagher Head Lake? I want to find snow this weekend but it doesn't look like there will be much below 4500 feet

So news from my truck. Rear leafs sagging about 1 inch on the drivers side. Time for some dakars I guess. Say goodbye to getting the wife new tires.

That's... That's really loud. I'd have someone drive it while you sit on top of it to see if you can feel it.

    Something big is moving.

thats what I'm thinking! But I've hit everything under the truck and nothing is loose. It started soon after I got my CMC done, but not sure what it could be. All my skids are tight. I don't think it's anything with my driveline..

Anyone know of a way to access NF-6200 off of hwy 2 near index? It started getting locked in the summer but there is some fun to be had back there!

The only other way in is also locked. You have to go from North Bend through the Hancock forest management area to get there, but there is a gate between those 2 lands that 99% of the time is locked and the key they give you doesn't work. That was my go-to spot if I wanted to go shooting or a quick camping trip.

There is a lot of BASE jumping back there that they have blocked off, its really sad and makes a once easy access jump into a Pain in the ass. I hope they open it back up at some point, I heard they were getting tired of the guys living back there. Really good camping for sure!

Living back there?? Never saw anyone living back there but people were trashing the place mainly with ammo shells. I want to get back in there so bad, pisses me off that they closed it

entering the area near index, the first left had a guy living there for a couple months, we landed near him and almost stepped on his dead dog...which he then burried.

huh weird.. There was definitely illegal growing of some drug back there. My brother and I went back a spur road that we'd never seen open and up came 2 uhauls literally packed full of mexicans with shovels, bags of dirt etc.. We went down and they had started burning news papers and just left the fires going. Nothing big but enough to have easily spread. Same with back Sultan basin Rd

I was thinking the same thing with a wire mesh or pantyhose. Until I get a snorkel on that is. Thinking about waiting for the new ARB made for 2nd gens.

Well I ventured up to Snoqualmie pass last night. Not really planned out, one of the new guys at work hit something and bent a wheel in a work truck. So the boss man and I headed up with a spare. Got there around 10:30 last night and was home again by 1am.

Was a bit disappointed most of the way, then we came around the last corner and boom, there was about an inch or so on the ground and hail/snow mix, snowing at the top of the pass. Maybe 3inches total from what I saw and it was changing to rain by the time we were done. I was going to mess around up there after the tire change but the boss felt I should drive the work truck to Denny creek since the other guy was new and not really experienced at driving in the snow.

That's my half assed trip report for an impromptu adventure.
