So I guess Crystal won't be opening tomorrow....

 

Oh they'll be open, and for the people who are on the other side of this mess, it will be AWESOME!

 

Hahahah I'm just hoping roads don't get too covered and or closed where I planned on going!

 

Both Chinook and Cayuse passes are closed right now so no one is getting to Crystal from the other side either.

 

My welding is top notch. I blame Toyota for making the cab not straight with the frame

 

Just put a spacer in the cab mount to lift the cab! Problem solved! You're welcome!

 

Crystal moved their opening to Friday. Tentatively. Not that i care..under 24" for a base....have fun with rocks and brush!

Much better places to go unless you only ride lifts

 

Maybe Baker? Prolly same but with more snow. Still, a guy can dream. Speshly after last year.
Sadly, I'll likely just end up raking all the leaves ( leafs?) from my cherry trees, which are currently about 2" deep in my back yard.

 

This time of year 1st tracks from high Campbell or northway aren't always the best for 2 reasons. Rocks and brush like you stated, and the trail back to the lift/base area hasn't been established yet. I haven't looked at crystals gains for snow, but anyone that is land locked between greenwater and the Blvd should have decent "inbounds/slackcountry" runs.

 

Who would you guys have install an remote start system in the greater Seattle area?

 

My opinion is pretty biased, but I'd give TorFab a call and see if they'd be up for it. Vitaly's wiring is a thing of beauty.

Cool. So I think as of now it's you, @AWilson013, @northwesttaco, @busmup808, 1-2 other 4Runners and myself. I called the Ranger Station again today, and she told me it was impassable due to snow. I'm skeptical though if they were just up there yesterday clearing trees. She probably just thought I was some hiker with a Subaru. I'd like to try it anyways. If we have to turnaround I figure we can head back and go out on Stampede Pass, there are tons of roads and a few high points so there should be snow. I'd like to stop at Dru Bru on the Pass for a beer too, myself. Or if we are victorious on getting to Gallagher, the Brick in Roslyn perhaps. Let's all meet at Safeway in North Bend and 930. Deal?

Found me some snow today.... At Baker opening day! It was hard packed everywhere, the rain they got a few days ago solidified everything. As I always say though, a shitty day on the mountain is better than any day in the office.
