HOLY SHIT!! That's crazy! Toyota didn't replace it for you??

That's interesting... I haven't even put 1000 miles on mine. I get ever so slight chatter if I don't give it any gas (only sometimes though, reverse is worse)

No.... they were trying to blame it on my upgrades with the clutch and flywheel, at a couple dealerships. Luckily I was able to get a new OEM trans for dealer cost. It's my first time using the beefier ceramic friction style clutch so yeah the break in period is weird but after several phone calls with Gadget he assured me it's all normal and he's seen this input shaft problem before after a URD clutch install... Wtf? Just glad it runs like butter now. Been running syn red line in it from the start this time.

Got both of you added. You'll be fine but throw some sand bags or weight in the back :)

If everything goes smoothly then I'd say we would be back in Arlington by 3 or so maybe 4

I picked up a couple 60 pound bags and threw them in the back. Should be good to go. Might add a little more weight though. Looking forward to this!

Any reason youd go to Tahuya over the snow trip? Just curious since it says you are in Arlington anyways lol.

I might join you Brian....we will see how i feel in the morning. Ill text you in the morning if i do come.

On another note...i had two derp moments this afternoon. Needed to take apart my headlight to attach the halo a bit better and to clean it out and add silica so it would stop fogging up. Well lets just say I didnt quite think things through this time.

Put the retro in face down. Well the heat made it soft enough to deform and bubble the face. D'oh! But i still had the OEM so easy enough to just steal the face off that. So put it in the oven this time face up. Annnnnddddd melted the backside on that one.

O well between the two i have one complete one lol. And the back was going to be trash anyways (since it wouldnt have the face)

Funny how some projects just have silly stupid moments
