Still interested, but that is a bit of bad news. Fingers crossed it's not totally compromised, if so it may end up being another project.

Those damn AC's only came in long bed.

 

This one is an auto, otherwise I'd be really excited to do something cool with it. Kinda takes the fun out of it for me, except I enjoy the wrenching and challenging of putting it back together.

 

Well.. damn. Even knowing that its a long bed now looking at the picture I still cant tell that it is.

 

I'd be in on the 23rd. Gotta work the 16th.

 

All access cabs are long beds

 

Rule of thumb, if there's a foot of bed in front of the the rear fender flare it's a long bed.

 

Anyone been up the 70 RD just outside greenwater? Been thinking about a snow run up there, but I've never been.

There are a lot of good roads up there. I went up there once last year with my dad. We saw a lot of flat bed jeep trailers at the bottom. Not sure if its closed in the winter time tho.

 

FS70 is probably closed at Pyramid Pass by now. But you can still get pretty far up on it I would think. The pass is a mile or two past where the Naches trail crossed FS70 (or whatever its called up there). It will be snowmobile heaven by now so they keep the main access somewhat plowed for those guys.

 

I ran FS70 on Nov 16th and the west side was full of snow, east side not so much.
I ran NF75 on Dec 5th towards Lonesome Lake - lots of snow but nothing like what @JDAM and others experienced last weekend in/around Lake Katchees area

 

Damn! 24" in the cascades by Friday night.

 

I was up there the weekend of 12/5. Took a while to get up to some snow but there was some. Hung out at the horse camp if you know where that is. But that area has been getting a lot more snow since. I was up at Crystal yesterday and it was pretty decent.

 

Went yesterday... All the sno parks in the Snoqualmie area are set up now, so the roads are closed. Went Blewitt, and then took the old Blewitt Pass road, found a solid 5 feet at the top, had to abandon my truck and ride in my buddy's Jeep with 40s and about 1.5psi. Then smoked my clutch pretty hard. Something tells me I better get parts and stick em on the shelf for when it goes out.

Then we went to Leavenworth and proceeded to get smashed, I rolled my ankle on the ice. Which sucked. Sultan Bakery for breakfast. Stevens seems to have the most/best snow right now.

 

SO depressed. Was looking forward to my 1st 2 days off this weekend since Nov. 3rd..just found out I have to work BOTH days this weekend. If you go out, please keep the photos coming! For now, I have to live vicariously through you all..
