    Damn, I will be in Chelan that weekend, otherwise I would totally be in. Last snow run I did was a ton of fun.

    Alright so north end snow run

    When: Sunday Jan. 17th OR Saturday Jan 16th if the Seahawks are playing Sunday
    Where: Darrington
    Meet up: Safeway in Arlington 9am (the one off hwy 9 20500 Olympic Pl, Arlington, WA 98223)

    We can either go up North Mountain, FS 24, or FS 18 towards siegleson where @JeffRoyJenkins went last week, we'll decide as it gets closer. You must be willing to air down to at least 15psi if not lower and have good tires, there will be a lot of snow. It will help a ton if you had OBA so I'm not the only one.. There is a GB going on right now for it ;)

    Edit: 1 more vehicle limit, more people than I originally thought..

    Going:
    @northwesttaco
    @CASHORT
    @JimSnell
    @romeo
    @twalchlii1 (only avail. Sunday)
    @JDAM
    @Greddy
    @busmup808

    Discount Tires doesn't do tire siping anymore. I think I'll go to Les Schwab in Bellevue to have it done unless anyone has better advice.

    Hmm wonder if that means they'll also void your warranty if you get it done. I had planned on taking the MTR's in, sucks to find this out. The warranty wasn't cheap and would blow voiding it. I've siped tires in the past, always a dramatic improvement in traction.

    When we were up there last week all of us were down to 10psi to start except the 4runner who didn't want to air down... but by the end I think we were all down to about 8psi to get as far as we did and then turned around in the deep stuff. The 4runner had to drop down once we got into about 6 in deep stuff because he just couldn't quite get a bite but even when he only dropped to 16psi at first I was pretty impressed with how well that rig did in the snow. Made it right up hills the unlocked Jeep struggled with.

    The air compressor at the Whitehorse Shell Station is broken also so without OBA of some kind you will be screwed getting home.

    Phones are for talking, not typing. And my friends get annoyed when I call instead of text in the car.

    Its still broken?? Damn its been almost a year then.. Im thinking North Mountain may be better because its a slower elevation increase so we'll get more snow wheeling in.
