Guess I haven't been keeping up on this thread.

I was in Ronald Saturday and Sunday. Spent the weekend drinking at a cabin on the lake, snowshoeing, drinking some more... Snowmobiles EVERYWHERE.

What's up Tacorinos. New to the thread. Just bought my dream truck. 2013 Tacoma TRD OR and have already got the modification bug. Was also going to speak to the NW Overland Rally. It'a s blast! Great group of guys/gals. I started helping out nearly 3 years ago with the Touratech (Adventure Motorcycle) guys. I can say that the TT guys and Overland crew put a ton of work into it. Well worth it if you can join. Also, who do you guys recommend for the best local 4x shop that may (or not) carry Tacoma stuff?

Welcome! I've heard good things about TORFab in Muklteo, there's Olympic 4x in snohomish if you need any essentials (mainly a jeep shop), and Mule expedition outfitters in issaquah is amazing. They are starting to carry more and more taco stuff

Question ... do you guys do your own electrical work or know of somewhere good to take my truck? I have some hood brackets, pods, and an aironboard switch waiting, but I am not electrically savy and I'm afraid to mess up something?

Who do you guys usually go to for wheel/tire work? My SCS wheels came in and I want to get them on. Any recommendations?

I go to tire factory for tires. The one here is a full auto shop too.

Ive done my own. Its actually a good time to learn if you are willing! Wiring switches and pods is pretty straight forward as its mostly a positive (fused from battery) and a negative. Depending on the switch its then just run the pos (from bat) to the switch, then from the switch to the pods. The switches might have an additional couple wires depending how fancy of one you got (illuminated or not).

It gets a bit more complicated when you add in fuse blocks (bluesea is a popular one) and even then its not toooo bad. Its more just keeping track of what wire goes where than anything lol

Do you have a wiring harness? If so then it's so easy, maybe take 15 minutes (depending on how the switch fits) once the brackets are on.
I actually just sold my cbi brackets because I found out you have to cut the crowling and I'm not willing to do that. Wish they would say "cutting of the crowling required" before you buy them

Not really short people problems.... Okay maybe it is. Just drive with the seatback past the B pillar and no worries on hitting the steering wheel.
