Broke @twalchlii1 mule cherry today. Spent a few min inside while meeting with @SCas for the CBI brackets. Thanks again for the brackets. Gonna try and wait for the rain to letup and get them installed.

Well, the toyo MT's I went to look at today were bunk. Less tread than shown in the picture. Pretty much worthless. Looking at a set of Cooper stt pros now since discount tire direct is doing their $100 off promo. Should I stay away from load range C? My stt's I have now are LR E.

$636 with free shipping after promo, for a set of 255/75/17. Measure out to roughly 32x10. I sized up the 295/70/17, roughly a 33x11.5, that I was looking at and would definitely need to trim the mud flap area and then some. Possibly a cmc. $924 for a set of the 295/70/17.

No go load range C. I hate how stiff my E's are.

My roommate had a set of those on his last truck. They're a hell of a tire. Hand good, grip good, wear good. A tad heavy on the street noise, but not unbearable. Definitely go E range.

If I daily drove my 3rd Gen, I'd probably want a LR C or D tire. But since I don't, I'm good with having the added toughness of an LR E tire.

If you have a discount tire near you it might be worth stopping in and seeing they will price match/beat the price. I know the one I go to will match the sale price (including tax) so you can get it quicker for the exact same price.

You'd definitely need to CMC and trim for a 295, no doubt about that.

The Discount sale on eBay is $100 off on purchases of $400 or more. So you could purchase 2 tires at a time and essentially get $200 off on 2 separate purchases with the discount code.

I called and asked, they will match the online prices, but not the $100 off promo prices.

Yup, that's how I was going to work it. They have listings of 2 for sale with $100 off and also listings with 4 and $100 off. Even with my mount si math it didn't take me long to figure out it would be in my favor to buy 2 sets of 2.

Just picked up a set of 9000 lumen spots for the CBI brackets. 5"x6" 9 led lights. Time to get busy. Rain is gone for now.

If he doesn't take them, I might take them off your hands. My leafs are flat and I just purchased the Icon stage 4 kit from Mule today. Hopefully will be in next week so I can get to work but I am just worried it's not worth throwing the aal in the rear with a shit leaf pack. Went to the dealership as well and asked them about a recall on the springs and they pretty much just said I'd have to wait and there isn't much they can do to expedite that. Has anyone installed this stage 4 kit before? Looks pretty straight forward.

It's pretty straight forward. Replace the struts with adjustable coils in the front, then throw an aal in the back. Those kits are some of the easier to Install.

Good! There is a pretty awesome step by step in the suspension thread for this exact kit.

Haven't done the stage 4 but leaf springs are really easy. And I'll let you know. Someone might be taking the aal set. I liked having an extra set on hand in case something broke on mine then I upgraded to dakars.

No worries. I understand it's probably nice to have an extra set laying around. I might just try to take it back into the dealership and push them to replace the leafs. I think Dakar packs are in the future for me as well but it'll probably be a while until I need those for the extra weight.

You shouldn't have a problem with the dakars. Did you get the extra leaf with them or the normal cso47's?
I got the regular ones and my ass sits higher that the front which I had compensated in the front for the block lift and aal in the rear. I just got the 700lb coils for the front but haven't installed yet.

I love my dakars. Wish I purchased them first. In a few years I will re do my suspension again with kings most likely.
