Anybody know much about fixing damaged rocker panels?

A friend crushed the passenger side of his '16 TRD OR, he drove over a curb and didn't see the giant boulder sitting right there. He got both front and rear doors and his rocker panels pretty good - doors still open and close but the dents and gouges are gnarly. The front door has a slight hiccup just as it closes.

I realize I'm about to get the "pics or it didn't happen" - I will try to get some tonight.

I can verify this is true.

 

Curious on the rocker panel repair... I still haven't fixed mine from last time!

 

I feel like a vice and a couple 1x1s would work but no experience on those.

 

@Tayoflor, @JeffRoyJenkins, and myself are going to have a mini meet in Snohomish at the sound to summit brewery. Great food and beer, anyone else is free to join of course. @Eazy.E I think you are in Snoho as well.

When do you guys want to? Im working tomorrow and Friday so probably next week would work better?

Nah almost did some rural mall crawling today but this old Jeep cherokee was there with two people screwing inside blocking the way.. might get into some snow this weekend

 

Depends on if there's any sharp kinks. I've had some luck with just popping out panels, but kinks throw a kink in it. Pics.

There are some kinks - the door sill is a little crunched.

I work M-F nights but I can probably swing something Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evening.

 

Well the forecast is looking like rain all day on Sunday now, so I am now in. Sounds like @AWilson013 will be riding along with me.

 

Woof.... That's an hour and a half drive for me.. I'm thinking about it tho. Put me down for a maybe. If @JDAM goes I guess I have no excuse not to go. He only lives about 15min away. We can make the trek together.
