Here is a teaser pic.. Build thread is to come!! By this time next week I will also have sliders and skids!

Next weekend I will definitely be hitting some trails.. I'm thinking Tahuya on Saturday the 21st.

And it sounds like a few will be near Cle Elum for the weekend of the 28th. I might head over Friday night and camp, wheel on Saturday and head back Saturday night.

Looks very nice, that's the light setup I wish I could have done.

Word of advice on your rope - don't get it overtight on the edge of the fairlead - it flattens the rope and kinda wears it down a bit. Just mentioning it since I used to do that and an offroad instructor pointed it out.

I'll see you there on the 28th

If you guys don't go this month, I'd be down for some scouting next month to some of these areas.

If you do go, I'm trusting Alan's judgment! :D

I'm thinking Tahuya!! Walker is a much closer to me, but I am slowly working my way into wheeling there. It is pretty extreme to say the least.

Yeah it is. Hundreds of rigs pass my place on the highway heading there everyday. Its all the SAS jeeps and toyotas that are jacked up on giant tires.

Most of the SAS yotas are bed bobbed too.. Makes it much easier to manuever around those rediculously narrow trails!

I know a guy that just rolled his jeep there last week. Rolled 4 times before hitting a tree and stopping. Luckily he escaped with just minor injuries.

Yeah almost everyone is on like 44's with a bobbed bed, or it those jacked up jeep cherokees, or other jeeps. Never seen anything close to stock up near there haha

Tons of people roll up there. I see trucks towing their rigs toward there in the morning, and back in the evening with smashed up everything.

Separate deal from the normal trail runs:

August 18, a bunch of us from Toyota Syndicate NW are going to do a hike at heather lake (~4.5 miles round trip), then hang out at my house for barbeque after. Heather Lake is off highway 92 east of granite falls, and my house is in lake stevens.

    Heather Lake Hike...

this is not an off roading thing. it is a group of people who drive toyota, lexus, or scion vehicles (or used to) that get together as a bunch of friends.
