I wish I had that excuse. It's the piece that goes in the bottom of the shock itself. The eye on the bottom of the shock end thingamajig

 

Ohhhh ok, thought you were talking about the bottom shock mount on the LCA. Roger that! One of these days at the shop we need to figure out where these noises are coming from, I know @penguins_cc would want in on that too! haha

 

Anyone know of a good place to get off road over in the Lake Chelan area?

 

Tie rod end ball joints? Had sorta the same thing on another vehicle. When driving straight, the on center feel of the wheel was fine ( didn't wander) but would be about 10 degrees off center. but if I did a L or R turn, or hit a bump, the wheel would go about the same amount to the other side.
For whatever that's worth, which is probably nothing....

 

I've often thought that might be the noise. To me it feels like something with the steering assembly. You should come to the shop this weekend and take a ride with me. With my luck the noise wont happen when someone else is in the truck haha. "i swear im not crazy"

Tomorrow at like 9-10am. Although @TacoSTIG usually shows up around 10:30, but its cool he usually has donuts and beer. Best way to start the day.

 

There is a great road (or series of roads) between Ardenvoir and 25 mile campground on Lake Chelan. Access is just north of Ardenvoir on a road marked variably as Mud Creek, Slide Ridge Rd, 287, NF5300. We did it last year as part of our WaBRD explorations.

Not sure how accessible it would be right now tho as it reaches 5000' in some spots.

I had a loud clunk when turning slow in reverse. It turned out to be a loose leaf spring but it sounded like passenger side front end. Just a thought.

 

I gotz all the clunks and tinks!

 

How'd u figure it out?

I'm going to try to make it but I will have to take time off work so it's debatable whether I will be able to.

 

I went under and torqued everything front to back to ensure ucas lcas coils and struts weren't the problem leaving it to cab or something unknown. Found my leafs were not tight. Torqued them down and boom. No more issues!

Anyone want to head back cherry valley next Thursday afternoon? Stopped by in my car on the way home and still no "keep out" signs so should be good to go. Have to ride the wall on the left to make the turn, hit my sliders last time I went.
People made it into a gate keeper to get in.

Awesome. Its in between Duvall and Monroe but a fun spot to go, went there a lot in high school.
