NW WA Meet / BS Thread

I'm going to be back up in Issaquah on the 24th for an eight hour suspension install at Mule. Any suggestions for time wasting? I will probably use Uber and good old legs to get around.
I know it's a weekday but if anyone is up to getting together for grub and beers that evening, lets get something together.

 

Triple x is right down the street.
Movie theaters up the hill, they also have several restaurants in the same area.

One of the theatres brings you food inside the movie, as well as drinks.

 

Cinebarre... I used to go to the one in Edmonds when I lived over that way. If I had the capital, I'd strongly consider starting nod over here in Spokanistan.

 

I'm thinking about buying a set of the new Falken tires - the ARB guy had a set on his 4runner that looked pretty sweet. And the set I'm looking at is only $450 from discount tire on ebay. Thoughts?

Went up Salmon La Sac yesterday. We got stuck. Stupid soft snow... barely made it past where the switchback/split up to gallagher is.

However did find an awesome dirt bike trail called Sasse Mountain Trail I'm attempting with Timmy next weekend!!

 

Just remember that you will also be paying a mount & balance for each tire as well. DT was $16 each when I had them put my tires on. Those look like a decent set of tires. What are the customer reviews on them? You won't be able to find much better of a price on that size for true AT tires, but will they hold up for what you want them to do?

If I weren't 200+ miles away, I would say call me and I'll go with you every weekend

 

Brian and I were just talking salmon la sac the other day, wondering what it was like up there. I'm sure the weather this week will melt some more snow

 

They are pretty new so there aren't many reviews yet, the ones I've read say they are quiet. I am about to start driving to Portland once per month for work, and I need to replace my Duratracs. There is a $50 off coupon until the 6th so I have a few days to decide.

Yeah it definitely will. The problem is the shaded areas, no sunlight just the warmer weather making it impassable soft slush.

 

I was inspired by Jeverich getting stuck out in Colockum so I decided to head out there this last weekend and see what it's all about. I managed to get stuck in the snow only once! Found a good camp site to.

haha yeah no kidding right! At first I didn't like the idea of a big ass barrel fire pit but it had a 6" hole cut in the bottom that worked as an air intake of sorts so it kept the fire burning extremely hot all night. It turned out to be pretty sweet.

 

Is this poll at the top of the page here to stay? It's annoying as hell on my phone.

 

My family had one when we lived on 100 acres in Ohio. Put a leaf blower in that hole and you'll turn get the barrel to literally glow red. It'll burn anything you put in it
