My buddy picked up a '67 Donzi 16' with a Holman Moody 302 V8. Sounds GREAT! There is something going on with the float bowls for the carb... Mostly on Lk Sammamish

Dual battery setup complete and tested over the weekend. Between the arb fridge powering my liquid corn party fuel and the party music I'd say it did alright. The desert heat in the 90's didn't even phase it.

 

Awesome. I really like 16'. At least you buddie has a boat problem that is a easy fix and relatively cheap as far as boat problems go.

 

Are you using anything to independantly monitor the voltages on the two batteries?

 

Mtn bike wise, Duthie Hill is a kickass all around park and Tiger Mtn offers some killer DH.

 

Those spots are sick. I used to ride duthie and exit 27 a lot when i lived in seattle

 

Is gulbraith mountain still ok for mountain bikes? Haven't been there in a few years. That's where the unemployment line is/was if I remember correctly, and that was an awesome bike trail.

 

Looks like the exact same setup Im going with. ATO tray, ML-ACR, Optimas (im debating 1 yellow top and 1 red or two yellow)

Quite similar to what I did. ML-ACR with a Peak DBI voltage monitor. Tho I wanted a change up from Optimas and yellowtops this time around so I went with 2 Northstar AGMs. So far I really like the Peak monitor. Small form factor, plenty bright but not too bright at night.

Its only 1.5" wide by 2" tall so not that big. Compared to most other monitors Id seen it seemed a good size.

 

I agree it's not as huge as others, but it's still bigger than a switch. I would have to find a flat spot in the cab that can accommodate something that big. I've already got questioned about the big red button on my dash for the blue sea switch. I tell them that's my NOS button.... because "I live my life one quarter mile at a time"
