And the trails themselves will just be forest roads, just depends on how deep the snow is and how slick.

Definitely 1st link, that 3rd link would get a whole lot of us stuck

Pain meds are both a blessing (for many) and also a curse (for many)
regardless insane how much they help your sanity post surgery/traumatic experiences for our bodies

Just my suggestion, sit this one out. This is the second snow trip in 2 weeks. I would bet that there will be a few more trips before Christmas.

I don't know the area too well in terms of roads, but this area (closer to your guys' spot this last trip) seemed pretty good:

This is north of Ellensburg, is higher in elevation and should provide some nice views over the valley --> zoom in closer to show NF roads:

Eburg is pretty deep... I'd be down for something more so just east of the pass, but at higher elevations that we can get to

I am making a trip across the state on wednesday. If i get outta town quick enough i could check out an area or two if you guys make up your mind on a location or two. Passing right through E burg. Could post some humpday eyecandy of the beginning of the trail and the snow conditions if you'd like.

I say we check out the top of this mountain, or at least as high as we can get... it's a switchback that forks off of NF Road 5045. It'll get us just below 5,000' of elevation so it should hold a spectacular view.

The second area I think looks good is just a little bit further to the West. TONS of FS roads in and around the that pinpoint on the map, also.. where the pin is might give a neat view over I-90 & the South Fork Snoqualmie River.

The final area (which I actually think looks the best) is at a high point just NE of Chester Morse Lake. Has a lot of switchbacks & looks like a sweet view from the top overlooking the valley below to the S/SW.

Just suggestions, I'm open to other areas though! Let me know what y'all think

Well I've never been so I wasn't aware of the gates in the area. Maybe Kyle (kbauman92) has some input since he lives right around that area...?
