You definately need to post a date when you plan on heading up to funny rocks next time. I have been up there with my quad twice and once in a buddies jeep coming from the Naches area. We usually stop at whistling jacks to refuel air down grab some shit from the gas station and head up. I would recommend having rock rails just due to some narrow trails and trees. But none of the 4dr JK guys had issues with vehcile length and making it around shit. I would take my truck up there and watch you climb some shit but i have seen some damage from guys playing in those rocks i cant justify doing to my rig yet.

may i suggest you root through some used tired yards? be careful about buying a used tire though, inspect it well, make sure there's no cracks on the sidewall, if it has a manufacturing date, you'll want something fairly recent. after rooting through 3 tire yards i found a good tire in the size i was looking for, had them mount it to my spare, and balance it, all for 40. hope that helps.

Thanks dudes. Yeah I'm sure I could find something with relatively minor digging, just seeing if anyone on here had something laying around.

I saw an orange-ish red (I am sorry, I don't know what it's called) 2016 Tacoma with hood scoop on I-405 North this morning near Newcastle, WA while I was merging onto the freeway. It did NOT have dealer plates, had WA state plates. I tried to slow down to let it catch up to me, but traffic didn't allow it before my exit.

I REALLY liked the look of the tail gate, but the front end will take some getting used to. Reminded me of the 1st gen Taco guys that do 4Runner front end swaps. It doesn't look bad, just not 100% right.

From pictures I thought I would hate it, but seeing it in person I think it could grow on me.

It was there, in all it's glory. I saw it the second I got on the on-ramp and slowed a bit to make sure it was what I thought it was. The tailgate was the first giveaway and looked very, very cool. The front end, in my opinion, looked a bit busy, but like I said before I think it could grow on me. The color was interesting to say the least.

Huh, wonder if it was one of the "prototype" trucks that a dealer guy got his hands on

I just saw a blue 2016 DC in fall city. Thought it was a new canyon but then I saw the Toyota emblem. The headlights threw me then I remembered they changed and did a double take.

I'm trying to set up a small group to do the lower section of the WABDR, from The Bridge of the Gods, to I-90 in eberg. Sometime in the next 3 weeks or so, like a 3 day weekend kind of trip.

Right now i have 3 trucks that wanna go. Anyone else interested?

Cool! I don't see why we couldn't make it one of those weekends then. I did the upper section of the WABDR and now im really interested in doing the lower section.
