Well If you guys want, we can plan a meetup like at XXX in issaquah, or anywhere you guys want.

Or we can plan a mod day at Bretts (or anywhere else who wants to volunteer), just depends on what one has more interest. Any weekend in May works for me so far, June I won't be very available to do much, that I know of.

Looks like my schedule is almost wide open for may right now. I am still willing to offer up my place. 3+ acres is enough for a few people to come over, drink beer, pretend to install a few parts on trucks, and have a fire.

Forster46, i am just on the north side of highway 92, and just east of 9. i would bet that you could make it to my place in about 25 minutes if you were speeding only a little.

also, for those who might forget their beer, there is a place about 1 mile from my house that has some ridiculous number of kegs on tap to fill growlers, as well as an awesome selection of bottles of micros and imports.

Let's get together and do this! May 5th is great for me - don't know about you guys... My place sucks since it's so small but I'm down with bringing beer, firewood, whatever.

We can use Smar969905's place? Your in bellevue so it shouldn't be too far. Just shoot up the freeway then hop on highway two. I think his place would be good if you guys want to get a May meetup going. I know Brett offered up his place, but he may need a little more notice.

from bellevue, take 405 north to 522 east, then hiway 9 north. I am ordering the BAMF LCA skids for my truck so i should have those in pretty soon, just in time for maybe going out to tahuya the next weekend.

as for firewood, i have a place in smokey point where i can get all the pallets i want for free and burn the hell out of those, plus i have a bunch of yard stuff to burn and if people want, we can have the log pulls. i have a couple trees i want to take down out here and anybody can use their truck to pull the log closer to the fire pit. i'll even provide chains.

the local toyota group i am part of (TSNW) is mostly about cars, dropping them, and making them faster. it would be nice to learn more on trucks, and the fun things to do with them, and see what others have done.

if we need any special tools for any mods, please say something early. i might be able to borrow from friends to avoid any rental fees.

Riiiigt on! I can bring any of the usual tools such as impact driver, torque wrenches, soldering kit, breaker bars, dremel, jack stands, etc. My jack kind of sucks but I'm bringing it. I am contemplating getting a compressor and some air tools since I will be ordering an OME lift kit in the next few days.

Any other thoughts or suggestions guys?

i have sockets, ratchets, 18v impact driver, extremely heavy duty home made ramps, 3/8 & 1/2 breaker bars, a few oddball things, barbeque, fridges, garage space, driveway space, but no air tools.

on the Oregon & Washington BS thread, i was informed that per an FJ forum, there is also another install meet that day in a warehouse.

Hey Forster - Which fuse block did you have in mind. The 5026 or the 5029?

There is talk of a Tahuya run on the 12th or 13th that i am thinking of going to. I am good with mod day at my place still or join in to the FJ mod day on the 5th at their warehouse. I'll have my LCA skids to install, not much but something at least.

Was probably just gonna get the 5029 because it is a little simpler haha but whichever one I could get my hands on would be good with me.

just got the link for FJ forum - http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/north-west-region/145498-april-mod-day.html

I have LCA skids from BAMF to install which will also require modifying the stock skid plate. if we aren't going to have any turnout for a mod day, that's fine, but i plan on having my stuff installed by saturday evening.

Edit: To make things faster for anybody else, the location of the FJ mod day is in redmond right next to microsoft main campus. it will be in a 1200 sq ft space, and the guy hosting just signed a lease on it. he also has jack stands and air tools. i don't think i will make it there. i have some tools here at my house i know will work for the modding i have to do.

Redmond would be perfect for me. I'm there every couple weeks anyway. I don't want to be the only taco there though haha.
