    Mmmm... Beer

I know 4runner316 had some questions about pulling dents and touch-up painting. Not sure if anybody has experience with those areas.

Extra jacks or jack stands or such are always good to have.

In terms of food, I'll have some basic coffee and morning stuff for the people that get here at 10AM. I can keep the beverage cooler stocked through the day. We'll have the grill going with meat for lunch and a couple snacks as well along the way.

    What am I missing.... Anything?

I have a Toyota Cargo Divider and Oval step bars if anybody is intersted. I think I have a few things to throw into the free/cheap pile as well. Anybody need a vent mount for your Ultragauge?

Might be a good time for people to do a front/rear diff oil change if they need. I have all the necessary tools. You just need to bring your favorite oil. Got plenty of grease if you want to hit your zerks. I plan to take my front suspension over to the local shop with spring compressor to swap over to my OME stuff unless somebody has a better idea.

UCAs should be arriving today - can't wait!

Man - I wish I had something that needed welding. It will be cool to have someone with skills on-site.

Just out of curiosity Tim, did you switch to a different type of antenna? I've been mulling over the Wilson 1000. Need to get a set of balls and commit to drilling the hole in roof though if I go this route...

    Will -

I have had Firestik in the past - and been happy with them. With this particular mount I was concerned about weight and "wiggle." Also - I had read good things about the Wilson and also the flex when encountering low hanging branches and such. Also, the quick disconnects - good idea at the time - seemed to throw my "tuning" off so I took them out of the equation. I am by no means saying I know anything - just what seemed to work for me.

Drilling a hole in your roof for a roof mount??? OMG!!! But then - if I could find someone that had installed Gen II snorkels in the area - I would be so down!!! And that is a big hole in the fender!!!

^^ Yeah you have to drill a fairly small hole in the roof. You can then remove the whip when you don't want to use it or for clearance. They have a cap that screws on to the base when you remove the whip so it can be fairly unobtrusive when you want it to be. Seems like people get great reception with them.

I still say the Relentless hood mount is the only way to go - low cost and no drilling sheet metal. Benson X just did his. You can also follow my instructions as well

Looks like I'll be the only one who has to supply my own beverages... :(

Netdep- If you want to get rid of your firestik let me know, I have been needing to pick one up, just didn't want to have to order one online.

Also, does anybody need a grill insert for a satoshi? I have a piece of Homertacos M1 mesh cut to fit. I was going to satoshi my grill but I just didn't really want to do the work.. haha

I already have hellas installed behind the stock grill, and I have a dremel. I just am not a huge fan of the deep dish style satoshi.

I am going to throw the Firestik in the pile for the good of the cause - along with two quick disconnects (one Firestik and another other brand) --- how they get distrubuted I will have nothing to do with - arm wrestle, first dibs - but once out of my control - I have nothing to do with it.

The beer on the other hand -- might want to hang onto a couple of those!!

    :)

Done. As long as they are decent!

We can swap them at the meet? I have been wanting to do the bhlm to my own, just don't have to willpower to put my lights in an oven and tear them apart.
