Perfect. The shocks are coming in next week so we just have to figure out a date. I have police exams during the middle of June on those 3 Saturday's 4,18,25 but other than that I just need about a week in advance to take off Saturday since I normally work

Well I guess this thread is do for an update, I suck at keeping threads up to date, lol

Garsha91 came down a few weekends ago for his long awaited 63 swap. Never tackled this before other than mine, so getting it done in the time "alotted" meant we had to stay busy. Oh and did I mention this is a 2015! And true to form, I took next to zero pictures, maybe he will chime in with some more. Here's where we ended up after friday night:

And here's where we ended after saturday night, lol

He did come back on his way to the Badlands last weekend and got some bumpstops sorted out too

Also had a local kid come with his Chevy that had broken and bent/mangled safety chain loops on the hitch. I backed them up with a 5lb sledge and worked them with a 3 lb ball pein hammer back into shape. Took a slice out of the broken one (metal stretched) and welded it up. Again my picture skills are lacking, here's the finished product:

Well. For those of you who DONT know. I went to @NwiTACO house this past Friday and Saturday for the Chevy 63 swap

Disassembly began as soon as I got there. Yes. I know. Green. Move on.

    Here's the old leafs

    Everything is off

    Protecting everything important

Got everything set up and organized because mark was cutting and I needed to keep myself busy

    Plasma cutting old shock mounts

Started to clean everything up while he worked on the other side

Cut off the lower shock mounts

Saturday morning started fabbing the kits from BAMF and ruffstuff

Finally painted them black because I didn't like the green or how they looked beforehand

    Fabbing the hanger mounts

Making sure we lines everything up correctly

Now time to mark where hangers and mounts are going to go

    Tack welded the front mount

    Tacked the hanger mounts

    Finished welding the front mount

For those unaware these are plug welds. We did this right next to the gas tank so we didn't have to take it off or worry about it catching on fire

    Engineers painting rack

Shock relocation mount all welded and painted

    Almost done. King shocks in

Day time with everything back together

    Bonerific
