She ordered this from Canvas On Demand. Seems like the process was pretty straightforward and the packaging was like a tank.

just got my frame inspected...no new frame need :woot:

getting a fresh spray monday, but glad i don't have to redo all the shit i've done to the frame! i probably would have passed on the new frame if it even came down to it...i'll take a free undercoating though :D

Just sprayed some anti-corrosion coating on mine last night. Expecting our first worthwhile snow this weekend.

LMAO! That was in Raleigh, NC two years ago I believe.

Va is just as bad though, people were losing their minds on Sunday with 1-2" and not even sticking to the road.

as much as i hate salt on the roads, it does wonders on the roads during snow storms...

although having snow covered roads going into work in denver was always fun....as long as the idiots driving their priuses would stay out of the way

surprisingly people out there (not all but more than you'd expect) don't know how to drive in snow

VA isn't afraid of using salt. I expect to start seeing them brine on Thursday night. Our biggest issue though is it usually starts as rain then switches to snow. So if that's the case they won't treat the roads till it transitions over. Oh well that's what 4x4 and aired down tires are for.

exactly...sucks when it just turns into an ice storm

last time i told my boss i couldn't make it into work because the roads were too bad, he laughed...so i corrected myself and said i know no one else will make it in so i'm going to the mountain :D

that was back in '07-08ish when denver got 1-2' for 3 weekends in a row

now i just take back roads and tackle the snow covered roads versus deal with traffic...hasn't been an issue up here yet this winter..been a mild winter due to el stinko

I just drove through NY and PA last night on my way back home to MI. It was white out conditions from about Buffalo to Cleveland. NY wasn't to bad since they were using the -30 salt, but PA it was so slick a gust of wind took the truck from the right lane to the left lane shoulder. Had the truck in 4wd for about 200 miles without an issue. Didnt see any Tacomas in the ditch along the way, but a lot of Audi's haha

i remember seeing a lot of subarus and land rovers off the road in CO...one thinks they're rally racers and the others think they can go anywhere but never change out their street tires

I always enjoy passing Land Rovers doing 10mph in the snow and thinking that they are supposed to be such a capable vehicle  Then you see them in the ditch as well. So who knows. No one wants to drive responsibly on the road anymore.
But yeah good tires, 4wd, and not driving like a dumbass and you'll usually make it home ok

I was honestly surprised when I got here how absolutely miserable people here are at driving in the snow. Any time we get more than 3" I can expect to see at least a few cars off the road abandoned. It's insane.

The wife and I had the pleasure of driving through MD and VA a few years back when they got somewhere north of 12" of snow. Pretty sure I was 1 of 6 cars we saw on our way to Williamsburg that had all 4 tires on the pavement.

Sounds about right for VA. Last year I did some driving for the local hospital, it's actually enjoyable at 0400 when no one else is out.

Michigan drivers (for the most part) are terrible. Not sure if its the 70mph speed limits we have out here or what but anything more then a dusting ppl are off in the ditch. Doesnt help they dont plow very well out here..
But when I lived in Vermont for school they didn't plow till it stopped snowing basically but barely saw cars off the road. NY/MA is kind of a crap shoot since some are good some aren't.

Awesome watercolor renderings! What app did you use for that?

My friends in Burlington told me it has been really mild this year. I don't miss that cold though. This week down here has reminded me of it.

having serious second thoughts about having toyota do the CRC application...some sloppy work done it seems...overspray on suspension components, body panels, windows....might just say fuck it and do it myself in the summer...
