defined shackles are made to a factory bushing width of 2.75" exactly

my bushing sleeve is just over 1/8" wider than the 2.75" width

i need to find a good way to spread them slightly or get new bushings in there that are 2.75"...thinking some poly bushings with a greaseable bolt in the rear may be a good option

that's an after moab project though..

    Oh, I see. I guess I missed that.
I was thinking about getting the Defined shackles. I guess I'll have to measure my AP springs.

Me too. They were supposed to fit the stock leaf springs and be a direct replacement.

I thought I was doing something wrong when I first did the flip but I just changed out the rear leaf pack again with a brand new 2012 stock pack and they are off by at least 3/8"

No where even close to fitting at all.

Almost. I have one more fender lining to get done, spark plugs, and some other routine maintenenance.

BTW, I have family and a good friend of mine in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. We will be there until Sunday probably, then headed on to Moab on Monday. You got any suggestions of scenic routes or anything to hit on the way? Or should we just take 70 all the way?

depends on how much time you want to spend on the trip...

you could take 50 over to canon city and check out the royal gorge

from there you could take rt 9 all the way through breckenridge to I70 then west

or stay on 50, have lunch in salida and continue on 50 over monarch pass through gunnison to montrose then north to grand junction and over

south of gunnison is a town called gateway that you can take canyon roads (dirt) into utah, gateway-castleton road/trail

or you can go south a bit to medano pass and head over to the great sand dunes nat park then take 285 over and up to 114 or 50 then go west from there

or from colorado springs you can hop on 24 and head west from there to rt 9 then head north through breckenridge or to 285 and head west to 50 and that way...

in other words...lots of options..all depends on how much time you want to spend

A small handful of select mods.
If you got the EXPO pack with the Poly in them the Defines will fit just fine. I got the extended length Defined Shackles and they fit with no issue.
