I'm leaning towards sept 21-24. I can take monday and tuesday off so I'm thinking that could be a good time. maybe not full fall foliage but still a good time and good camping weather.

    2 days to denver

What trails would you guys recommend in CO if I only had 3-5 days to spend camping and wheeling?

Bob what did you spend on the insanos? They're on dog funk for $300 something  I forgot how pricey they are. I'm going to pick up a set of k2 boa raiders. I had an old pair that lasted a few seasons and for $119 on clearance that's not bad. New boots, tool, park gloves, and a neversummer sweatshirt for $200 and free shipping

from gunnison take blue mesa cutoff down to lake city, then engineer pass to mineral creek then head up to black bear pass, come back over imogene pass and up yankee boy/governor basin, take mineral creek back up to poughkeepsie gulch up to hurricane pass and down corkscrew gulch. head over to silverton, take cinnamon pass back to lake city and you can even come back stony pass and check out kite lake. then if you want to keep going take ohpir pass over and check out alta lakes. then take last dollar road out of telluride back up to 62 and head north. you could even take owl creek pass up to rt 50 back over to gunnison

    that'll keep ya busy :D
