small update..took the RTT off for a bit, until the next trip...threw the soft top on over the rack

a request i had was to have it tucked in enough to allow the soft top over it, and it works out great! wasn't a big fan of how it looked at first, but i threw the side windows on and i'm much happier with it. crazy how much the soft top angles in. didn't notice it until i did this.

No room to store the rack. Plus i I keep my lights, maxtrax, hi lift and fire extinguisher mounts.

Yea it looks a bit awkward at first but it'll be nice to have those options during the winter. Might have something else next month that will help things out even more :spy:

Back window will not work but I rarely use that anyways. Silverton trips will be tough if it's snowing but I'll have to use some containers to keep things dry in the back. Two people with gear and weekend of supplies is a bit much for inside an access can so I rely on the back for trips like that.

But I'm contemplating trying out the rtt for a silverton trip this year so it'll be a changing setup over time.

This is why I built a trailer. 2 adults and 2 kids.
No real concessions except the weight. But for most of what we do...it'll be like a Hilton, just with dirt checkin.

For the most part.. Now I'm just waiting a little bit before booking anything.
I like to see how the snow is piling up before paying for anything. Two years ago I tried to go to Tahoe and a week before my trip they still only had a couple trails open so I had to change plans last minute to go to Jackson hole instead.

    lol

i still have to make it out there for a winter session..

my cousin has been in tahoe for 7 years now and i have yet to see him there during the winter...given i'm spoiled with colorado winters and i think that's why i like tahoe visits during the summer as you don't get that in CO..the lake during the summer is second to none
