    Nice!

So are your pics of your cut flares in this thread somewhere? I want to check out how you did it. I think I need to take a couple inches out of my rear fenders to clear my tires both sides are stuffed...

Found them! So you just cut the bottom of and left it open? I was trying to figure out how to take a couple inches out of the middle and reattach the top and bottom in a way that didn't look awful. haha

Interesting. If my thoughts are correct, longer springs will set that shackle back further and closer to the frame lowering your rear end. You are going to need extended shackles or start running "Brah" style. :D

Paint it all black inside and you see nothing. Bob's was first set we cut up. Mine will be next. The process isn't bad but does take a good weekend. I am thinking of spraying bed liner in at the very end to seal it.

Bob added some bolts and wing nuts on the ends to help secure the flare a bit better then the plastic mounts. This helped out a lot. I think I will add them on the ends and at a couple more points in the middle. They appear to be holding up well on his so far.

already run a rake, so it'll actually level me out i'm guessing...but longer shackles will fix the lift if needed...a benefit of having the shackle flip now :D

hoping my defined shackles will fit over the Toytec leafs so i can install those finally!

I see. Did you just paint the backside of the flare black of the fender as well?

i think we painted the fender a bit back there...i forget

i need to take it apart again and repair some of the flare tabs that broke during removal..probably do more of those bolts to help keep the flare tight on the fender..

I think we did a quick final spray inside after install but since your truck is already dark it really wasn't needed.

Mine on the other hand being sand will need a dark coat inside. So I was going to spray bedliner in there after it is back on.

More bolts will definitely be in order along with a few extra "tabs" left in the steel fender trimmed to allow for the splash gaurd to remain intact.

Good to know. So what is this super secret tool I saw a little about in the CO BS thread? Or did I quit reading too soon and it's in there? haha

There is a $250 per flare mobile processing fee for work done after hours at the event. Oh and then there is the standard labor fees that will apply. :-D

Was it like Monte's tool? haha A ruler with 2 holes drilled in it. 1 hole had a pencil in it as a guide and the other hole had a sharpie to make the cut line.
