Bobby at CVT sent me over a new cover for my Mt Hood

these guys are amazing at customer service

old one has seen its better days...zipper is jacked up, hole in the cover that has been gorilla taped since the summer (that shit holds great :D )

it'll be nice to be able to zipper the cover shut without pliers now :D

got some progress done on the truck...still trying to figure out tires...had a snag and may have to work on plan B...

but i had to keep things moving...now only 3 more sundays left to work on the truck til the first trip :goingcrazy:

put my ATO tranny skid back up (finally found my bolts!)

Bobby at CVT had recently sent over a new cover for my Mt Hood. The cover had a busted and aging zipper that made closing up camp a HUGE pain in the ASS! there also was a hole in one of the corners that i had taped up with gorilla tape since November..

    so out with the old

    in with the new

    much better :D

last thing i did on the truck today was swap out the shackles and mounts.

the xj shackles were good, but i couldn't get the full range of their pivot with the 11" shocks...
    EF25E84F-24F5-41C1-B72C-5CE513C344D9_zps_cf06ff40c5a5db33b45c13c3b252b2590566abd5.jpg

so i swapped them out for the Defined shackles i had laying around...with the longer springs i also had to swap the ATO mount for the spare one i had that was made for longer springs...

luckily my travel numbers were not effected...

still getting full droop extension on the shocks

Are those defined shackles stock length? Greasable?

got my holes cut out last night for some flush mount LEDs in the rear bumper too....a set of 2x3 LED floods will go back there to help me see backing up...can't see shit with the factory backup light positions and the swing arm...

it was MTR or Dynapro MT for the backup...

i've been hearing good things about the Dynapro and with a short notice, the lower price is a welcome sight..

i know i may regret not getting the MTR...hell right now i'm close to changing my order :D especially with your sig throwing the MTRs in my face :D

but it'll be good to try something else out as well..and with good reviews from fellow TW'ers, it may be worth a shot
