did some exploring last week...some teasers..

    saw this thing
    [IMG]

went on a bunch of these things
    [IMG]

found some cool camping spots along the way
    [IMG]

    saw a lot of cows
    [IMG]

found a dinner reservation at this location
    [IMG]

then spent a windy night overlooking this hole
    [IMG]

    walked barefoot through this thing
    [IMG]

    got to burn things
    [IMG]

    with this in our backyard
    [IMG]

    saw some goblins
    [IMG]

    and scorpions
    [IMG]

    while camping below this guy
    [IMG]

and now i am left with hundreds of photos to edit and stuck in an office counting down the days until our next trip :D

    trip log

no...i have a good night shot when we camped at the paria overlook though...used the headlamp to pull out the truck and got some good stars...

did everything HDR too...so i have 3 times the amount of photos to go through

biggest one i have i think is a 8 photo pano HDR (24 total photos) that i'll be pulling together

but i gotta find a nice setting with photomatix so the photos don't look too altered, just better..

like i have a sunset HDR photo that is bad ass...pulled in the darkened sky with the sunset colors, but also have great color on the truck/camp setup and ground around camp...

we'll be spending some time in May in Beef basin and dark canyon, so i will have more sky opportunities coming up in the desert..i'm a bit rusty on my photo skills coming out of tax season haha

looking for a better cushion on hard hits from unexpected ruts in the trail...

had to take a section at a good pace due to the DEEEP sand and there was a hard rut running through the trail that probably bent my frame it hit so hard...

i was fully loaded in the back still, but i'm looking for an option to give me a little more cushion for the pushin the next time that happens...
