I copied your list for my build thread too. Will be interested to see the route you take. I want to get the family on the road a couple more times this year and a LONG distance trip might just be our thing.

you're getting there man..not a bad start so far

still working on the wish list...and a couple items waiting to get put on..bushwackers need to be modified and painted and i'm waiting on AP to get some flip kits and Timbrens back in stock to fix my bump issues..

as soon as i get a garage, i think my first project will be throwing an ARB locker in the front...then work my way back to an FJ twin stick or lefty and crawl box...those are two projects i'd like to tackle myself

oh and i'm working on another sweet project that's not on the list yet too :spy:

thanks guys...i'm happy with how it turned out

going to put a film over the fogs soon...i have yellow film but i'm contemplating getting a more amber tint to it so it all matches...idk if the amber would dull the light output too much tho..

and the main reason why i'm putting a film on them is for the snow and dust...having it look good comes second but i might as well try to make the best of it

few phone shots from the weekend

got into camp friday night...setup near three fingers next to the mouth of black dragon canyon...

in the morning we worked our way up black dragon canyon checking out the rock art and scrambling up to check out the dragon cave
    [IMG]

worked our way from black dragon into jackass flats then rattlesnake flats where we picked up buckhorn draw...that brought us north to the san rafael river where we had lunch at the swinging bridge...the last suspension bridge in Utah
    [IMG]

after lunch, we continued up buckhorn wash to the buckhorn wash panel to see more rock art then stopped by the MK tunnels to see what they were all about...but unfortunately they've been closed for a few years now :( so we worked our way over to the wedge and setup camp for the night
    [IMG]

with some amazing views of little grand canyon just outside our doorstep
    [IMG]

sunday morning's goal was to make the crossing at fuller bottom and hit eva conover trail down to eagle canyon before heading home..

from the wedge we found the turnoff for fuller bottom and found the muckiness that is fuller bottom. working our way through a muddy trail, we came across the san rafael river crossing..the original river crossing exit was washed out by recent storms and is now filled with a couple feet of muddy quicksand...so a secondary exit has been used as the exit point...a steep muddy bank...tried the exit in 1st low and almost crested the bank, but couldn't get the tires over the top...so why not 2nd and give it a little juice...BRAP! topped the bank at 4k and we're on our way :D
    [IMG]

then came the tricky part...how to rejoin the trail that is basically a wash with 3 foot walls...the willows made it a hard angle to join the trail from the side we were coming in from, so the only safe option to avoid tipping over was to cut across the wash and come in from the other side at a better angle...this involved digging out some of the crossing with my front and rear bumpers including my spare tire

but we got in and worked our way through the washed out fuller bottom trail over to coal wash where our first stop would be the drips..more on those later...shortly after the wash splits north (devil's racetrack) and south (eva conover). we took the eva conover trail as i wanted to see eagle canyon...so onto the eva conover trail which the early sections were working your way through the canyon bottom then finished off with high cliffs and tight trails...this was a rare spot that allowed room to pull off and take in some views along the cliffs..

eva was a great trail and long one...finally got down to secret mesa where we dropped down into eagle canyon to have a late lunch under the i70 bridges before we had to call it a trip...time was not on our side...fuller bottom took longer than i planned unfortunately..

but it was a great trip none-the-less and a much needed get away for the both of us...

    man we missed Utah!!

more "real" pics on this trip at some point :D
