Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
Awesome on many levels. Good wheeling partner, a lot of parts in common to share spares, and clearly you've found yourself a keeper (in both the vehicles and the old lady). She'll be in Moab with us?

Switching out the blinker relay is a better option then adding the resistors. Just wanted to throw that out there for the FJ. Although I have no clue where it is on the FJ. The relays are behind the fuses in the dash on the Tacoma.

versus adding a resistor in the easily accessible blinker wiring in the engine bay?

Resistors create heat and can melt or quit working and you are back to square one. Not to mention you need a resistor on each blinker line. Do the new rear lights use a single LED bulb or are they wired to the board in the rear turn signal? The board should already have the resistor in it.

What is causing the hyper flash?

Relay is one time change out and should last the life of the FJ. Might take just as long to install as soldering in 4 resistors.

the prior LED tails had a .7 resistor connected to it...

i'm no electrician...LED front and rear...but still hyper flashing..if there was no hyperflashing with the prior set, i'll try a resistor like it last had...

i was going to include the fancy resistor box that came with the old set when i sell them...

Well that sucks. My new rears had the resistor in the board that was built into the tail light. Only reason I installed relay in the taco is when I put LED bulbs in the front I got hyper flash. Relay fixed.

Sounds like your fronts might already have resistors installed so yeah just putting them on the rear should fix it. And since you need to top off the blinker fluid anyways while you are in there you should be good. :D

Yeah looking at that shot you are gonna have to down grade you compressor to a dinky ARB single. But then you might be able to cram that SC in there. I think I have a 6' pry bar that will help too. :D

i might be able to relocate my aux fuse block to the passenger side with my other aux block...

    20150309_204535185_iOS.jpg

    20150309_204621159_iOS.jpg

then i might be able to rotate my compressor enough to get the reservoir in there where the aux was
