the piranha kit comes with seemingly small gauge wires which was a concern from the start...this is a cheaper route than a new alternator or battery and i had to tear apart the wiring anyway to move the aux block...

i doubt i'll have time for a full test for a couple weeks...so won't know for sure for a little bit

oh fuck that shit! my ratchets were fucked after that job...they didn't like the rain/mud soaking them...at least that's my excuse for buying a new set :D

hopefully that'll be the last time having to swap out numerous clamshells in the desert

Mine too. I had been considering getting a new set of tools for the garage and making a full time truck tool box that stays in there so that's what I'm planning after I soak all mine in oil for a few days.

No more swapping 3rds for me...I'm paying someone to do that if it ever happens again.

Discontinued! ?!? That's awful. I guess I have to bump it up my list before it's too late.

correct. they will sell out to dealers what they have left. so you'll see them for a short time. service parts should be available for 10 years.

I used some of these for rings and they are awesome but I believe they have been discontinued? I think I have a some spares laying around I will check if you're interested? They come in 1/0 sizes and make for a reliable EZ connection.

i have nice ports for the battery side, it's the ring terminals that i didn't pick up originally so being able to find a good ground option with the ring terminals that i had...they were too bulky and offset so i couldn't attach them flat on the engine bay side...that's not a bad setup though...
